- Welcome to the most realistic space flight simulator I've ever seen .... It's called REENTRY !!
In this video im on the head of the 111m Saturn V rocket and i'll try the launch stage that push the command modul in orbit over the earth.
Hope you enjoy the video, don't forget to subscribe, hit the like button and leave some comment!!

"The sideways shaking was unbelievable. The vibration was so intense you couldn't see the instrument panel. I thought we'd had it during the launch." - William (Bill) Anders. Apollo 8.
I worked for this man for 2 years in Skagit Washington maintaining his aircraft collection/museum. Bill always spoke of the shaking and how violent it was. He told me he straight up told his wife he gave himself a 30% chance of making it home alive and still went.

Brave men, to fly to the moon in an experimental craft which had only flown humans once before, riding a booster which had never had humans strapped to it before. How did they fit those enormous balls of theirs into that tiny capsule?
@@Doctor699 RIP Bill Anders
So realistic, even the gray aliens look real.
That's what I thought. Why does the copilot look like a mannequin?
It's so accurate it they even got the orchestra that was in the capsule correct.
And the royalty-free music, too. They thought of everything.
Games like this should be VR with every switch functioning and switchable.
Well it is fully playable in VR! (sorry for late reply only watched this video today)
@@KayoMichiels You can also use TrackIR which is pretty cool. I don't have VR but use TrackIR for plenty other flight sims, so it's very welcome.
The Apollo command module makes DCS world look like kindergarten lol!
😂
The mig 21 in dcs literally looks like the apollo command module
@@michealnyers184 fr bro
@@michealnyers184 I love that module, but at least you can see out the window :D
vabeh... non esagerare ora eh?
"Set SCE to AUX!" 😏
Looks very realistic from all the old films.
Power Switch Simulator 2023, love it!
Asobo+Microsoft should really make a space simulator as an expansion to MSFS or a completely standalone product, with all the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Soyuz, Space Shuttle, and SpaceX crewed missions
This would be interesting..
Asobo should not make any FS
Would never happen in a hundred years 😂
CCCP cosmonaut DLC
I completely agree
wow i even hear the green display relays clicking when it updates! I watched a Curiousmarc episode where they reconnected an original apollo display.
During the outro, I expected the Lacrosse Wisconsin PD to pull up to the capsule to do a sobriety check (Code Blue Cam)
Que the t-rex
Love Reentry. My buddies and I annually set up an Apollo mission. One of us is commander, command module pilot, and lunar module pilot. The rest are flight directors and mission control. But my question is how do you get track IR working? When I set it up everything is normal but when I switch my saved view to another seat, it resets to the default setting.
I got around the problem by editing the default trackir profile so when i switch seat it remains on the same profile
That sounds amazing.
Wait is multi crew apollo implemented already?
I'd like to be a part of your clan as a flight controller. Is this possible? I've completed the Mercury academic program.
Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing dude!
The music kills the experience of the "BRUTAL REALISM" of "The Most Realistic Space Flight Simulator Ever Seen".
I love Reentry. Had it for a moment, tried in VR. After an hour of switching those switches during preflight procedures in this extremely confined VR space I realized I need to return the game or I'll break my back. Which is a real shame, tho. Definitevely, I'm gonna buy it again and give it another go after some yoga classes :)
Haven't played this for 4 years. Maybe it's worth another look now, thanks :)
I was an early beta adopter. It's improved immensely in the last four years.
@@spudeleven5124 Thanks :)
Awesome! And just think the guidance computer weighed about 70 pounds and had all of about 36K of RAM and 2K of ROM.
Your stats for the AGC are spot-on. 1mhz clock also.
bro's playing the new DLC on DCS
I couldn't imagine spending DAYS in so tight an environment, even having a connected lunar lander for extra space. I don't consider myself especially claustrophobic, but this would do me in.
With two other smelly dudes.
It reminded me of a short film from Pixar - lifted, where the alien took the exam at a remote control with a bunch of identical toggle switches)
That video is hilarious!
that short was literally my childhood, must have watched it a dozen times!
I was on a private tour with an Astronaut friend at Johnson Space Center and we visited the Virtual reality lab, just a small room crammed with equipment. The outside simulator, wearing the goggles and gloves, was floating outside the International Space Station. Looking down you saw the Earth slowly moving below and grabbing handholds on the outside of the station. I could have stayed all day! I wanted one!
How does one make an astronaut friend? lol that's the coolest thing ever
@@624radicalham she is a longtime neighbor and best friend to my daughters godmother so we got to know her. Some great stories!
Reentry in VR is an amazing experience.
I have not yet seen the VR version - I am a beta user but I thought it was still in development. I was just on ReEntry last night but I didn't see anything saying "ReEntry VR is Here!"
@@spudeleven5124 It is still in development, but there is an option in settings to enable VR.
@@spudeleven5124 There's a setting under "Alpha Features" to enable VR.
Damn this is epic
NICE!
incredible and wonderful
what a time to be alive
It’s insane to me that they have zero windows and just feel all that force lol
i dont know how they made it ...nobody can handle ALL THESE BUTTONS !!!!!!
yeah, pretty hard!!😂 Thanks for watching!!
real astronauts can lol
@@BryonLetterman not really. They brought pounds of checklists with them. Although it got easier through hours of training
All of them were military pilots in times where everything was analog. They were accustomed to see lots of buttons and switches in front of them, and be ready to take manual control of the spacecraft whenever it was necessary.
Soviet spacecraft had a higher degree of automation compared to their contemporary American counterparts.
They didn't! The little blue lights told them what to switch and when!
Interesting
Adoro simulador de aeronaves se eu pudesse seria piloto de avião!!🎉🎉
The most interesting flight I ever took was a small twin engine aircraft. We departed Patrick AFB Cape Kennedy. Circled till we reached 12,000 feet and headed to Andrews AFB. I got a Birds Eye view of what the Astronauts see.
I was given this as a birthday present when I was like 10.... needless to say I didn't get very far with it hahahha
Be cool to see a SpaceX Dragon capsule simulator but I could imagine it will be a lot easier than this one since a lot of the systems are autonomous they got it easy now compared to back then
I think it would be the same. NASA put a bunch of non sense switches to keep the astronauts occupied. Computers have always controlled the space craft. I don't think NASA has ever trusted Astronauts to actually do anything with controling of the space craft LOL
Yup. One of the reasons that test pilots wanted to be part of the space program was because it was all brand-new and untested. Chuck Yeager pooh-poohed it (literally); yet guys like Jim McDivitt (Apollo 9 commander) were eager to do it because it was all so novel, so highly unknown and experimental, and thus irresistible. McDivitt turned down offers to skip Apollo 9 and possibly command a lunar mission later because his crew (himself, Dave Scott & Rusty Schweickart) got to test essentially EVERYTHING associated with the program (albeit in Earth orbit). Apollo 9 was the absolute tops with respect to flight test.
This is the E TICKET RIDE...Fantastic graphics!!
I would love to get & learn this! I played Orbitor 2010 years ago and loved it!
I *think* Orbiter is still the more "realistic" in term of simulation, but I haven't actually played it yet. I just got This Reentry game and so far enjoy it. Just wish it had more sandbox elements to it like Orbiter does.
Now that KSP2 is dead, hopefully some developers see this market and make something MP
Grenat video😮
do you have spacex gragon capsule ?
Op bro 🤠 3:03
Não sabia que existia simulador de foguetes to vendo agora nossa se pilotar avião ja e complicado imagine foguete espacial mas eu amo aeronaves mesmo!!😂😂
wooow. its so reeeealll................
Was not aware that the crew listens to music during the launch! New for me.
The Apollo Astonauts said they couldnt read the panel gauges at all,too much vibration
The inside of the capsules were illuminated. The astronauts did not need to use a flashlight to see the instruments.
Very nice video and great music. What's the name of the song.
Thanks for watching!! the song is sb discovery By N Music
when it launched i genuinely felt nervous!
Orbiter w/ Project Apollo mod. That's real.
☝This.
Agreed. Reentry is getting better and better, and I love the fact that its getting VR support! But, the folks who have been making NASSP for Orbiter have been at it for years and years. It's the best. Hands down.
Its been ages since I have played Orbiter. I have done some of the more complex ships like the XR-2 and XR-5. I have also got to the ISS from KSC pad using the Shuttle A (loaded with pods) without using any fuel cheats. It's barely possible but it can be done with the right, very efficient ascent profile by climbing vertically on the mains until pretty high up into thinner air before pitching over for velocity. More than once I have run out of fuel within sight of the ISS while flying that profile but at one point I could make it to docking more than 50% of the time. I had tried NAASP Apollo but it was still very buggy at the time and the tiny delta-v margin and using the Apollo era navigation system (rather than Orbiter MFDs like Trans-X) was just too hard for me but to be fair I did not invest the time to learn how to fly it or use the AGC since the actual missions were pretty much flown by the computers other than the actual landing on the Moon. Maybe one day I will dust off Orbiter and give NASSP another try along with learning to use the AGC. I also remember trying a few times to do the final descent of Apollo 11 mission (just VFR + seat of the pants flying without guidance) and it only ever ended with me becoming a smoking hole on the moon. Compare to the stock ships the TWR is crappy on Apollo.
@@larrybremer4930 it’s more than doable. I have a video series on my channel flying the XR2 to Mars with no cheats.
How did they see where they were going?
Damn and I thought the F15 in DCS has too many buttons.
I was F-15 avionics. There are only a few controls/indicators/switches which require constant attention; most of them are initially set and forgotten about until landing, though the cockpit workload can be a challenge to novices.
wow! What the name of this simulator?
Reentry
Jefrey Dahmers dream crew.
what sim is this
Was That the Pogo Effect? I Thought They solved that by Apollo 10
Holy molly the launch from about 8:00 with the music was ABSOLUTELY EPIC! Goosebumps!!!!
Is the music from the game or edited onto the video? Great video regardless and thank you a lot for the upload!!!!!!
The music is edited into the video. I thought it would give it more of a cinematic feeling, but not many people seem to like it :) I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Alguém assistindo??🦋🦋🦋
Imagine being stuck in economy seating for days on end 😶
It's not so bad with microgravity. And you can orient yourself in any direction as well as stretch out under the seats if you like. All the Gemini vets who made it to Apollo were gobsmacked by the amount of room they had compared to their previous experience (the front seat of a Volkswagen).
LOOOL 17:45
Imagine having a panic attack !!!
Ace to aux!
LoL.. Yep.. it is Like DCS in Space.. I would buy it if it was 50% off and a DCS Module..
Is it a Steam game? Where did you download from?
Yes Reentry on steam
To think that just 100 years ago, most of the world was using horse power for transportation.
Ахринеть как реалистично. Нажимай что подсвечивается😂

Not in VR???
What is this simulator called and how can I get it?
It's called Reentry and you can find it on steam
would be better without the dramatic music
You can turn it off. I did.
I believe I would have turned the radio off! A bit distracting.
How much fuel does a mission like this take?
All of it
December 21, 1968 🚀🌎
That music turns the whole thing into some hollywood movie. That's the opposite of realism.
What's the name of this Apollo flight simulator ?
It's called Reentry
@@FlightSimulation thank you very much! With best regards.
Is it in VR?
yes
@@ericragusa4480 I'm not seeing it listed on the Steam page as being VR. Hmmm.
unfortunately not yet.
People, tell me what kind of game is this?
reentry space flight simulator
It's a complex space flight simulator where you can fly the most important missions made by nasa in a very realistic way. Every system and switch in the cockpit is functional and every module have it's own systems and switches... a lot of things to learn to be able to fly and even on how they did the missions.
It's too quiet
The astronauts said that Mission Control never shut up
So what happened to the sim?
what do you mean? It's available on steam
Comment comprendre tous ces boutons inconnus
Mission control 'Please enter launch program 01'
Gen-Z astronaut: 'What's a program?'
"proceeds to have an anxiety attack"
WHERE DO I FIND THIS!?!?
On steam, it's called Reentry
just turn on everything.. for god ske
I would agree that this is as real as apollo!
Реализм. 😆😄😁
Most realistic is Orbiter 2016
I'm sure the game would be fantastic to play but it doesn't lend itself wall for a video.
how this game can mostly negative on steam :(
Because most people have a low IQ 😂
@@FlightSimulationin this video, you're literally just following a guide. that doesn't exactly take much brainpower.
Uh it's not? It's overwhelmingly positive.
What’s brutal about itv
Too bad the UI is so glitched. It's a mess in VR.
Whis this blocked
Does this have multi-player?
It is Very scary to trip with This crash test dummie at your side
All buttons have a function?
yes
NASSP is more realistic, with fully emulated AGC and AGS included.
Be carefull, too much realism may not be that fun..
now start flipping switches randomly
How much is the be yours
Not too much: store.steampowered.com/app/882140/Reentry__An_Orbital_Simulator/
How much
You can’t get Roket MFS
no, this is not MSFS it is Reentry, it's another simulator
7:43. That astronaut is white
That's right , because he was qualified for the job ,and yes white too and the all made it back , no participation awards for failure,it's life or death.
What’s your point bro?
It is a button pushing game, not a simulator.
Really. Have you tried docking Gemini with Agena? Or Transposition and docking in Apollo? Powered descent? Landing on the moon? It’s a fantastic simulator.
Bro..welcome to the analog 60s
American components, Russian components, all made in Taiwan!
graphically speaking it's a shit. I remember I had similar graphics back in '92 when I was playing Shuttle on my Amiga.
its not vr so not for me
Reentry Simulator supports VR on multiple modules. You should try using the google.
The SpaceX game would be a shorter experience.
Start engines, dont reach orbit. explode.
Space X has put hundreds of rockets into orbit. Starship is a totally different beast.
looks boring don't actually do any flying
