  • Fat biking in amazing conditions on perfectly maintained trails at Mount Washington. I stepped away from fat biking years ago, after buying and selling my own fat bike. I realized that the sport, especially in winter, required specific conditions to be incredible. Fortunately, the perfect conditions are on non-pow days so it won't be interfering with my snowboarding addiction haha.
In this edit, I'll take you with me on a phenomenal day with the crew at Mount Washington to show you what conditions are like out there and some best practices and lessons learned over the years in fat biking and what makes it so incredible.

Cheers! I appreciate the feedback. I hope you enjoy it, it’s a different pace than mountain biking but super rewarding.

Wish I had local groomers like that. I build my own stuff. Snowshoe first then ride.

It looks like some cool trails. I have hydraulic brakes with DOT fluid and studs. I ride in Alberta.

Nice, sounds like a good setup. I found the hardest part of riding in Alberta was keeping the toes and fingers warm.

Gerald Prost; is the hydraulics worth the upgrade?

Watching this after buying a Giant Yukon and thinking why did I just pay more for hydraulic breaks lol. They work amazing so far but it's not cold yet in Ontario Canada. Anyways fat bike on everyone. !!!
