Have got to say it again....these interviews are just the best. Gary's attention to detail is 100% outstanding. Oh...and I'm stealing that idea of the ABS under the tubs, for my 70' Duster (makes perfect sense where a tad extra weight is no big deal, as in bracket racing). Especially liked the oh-so elegant simplicity of purpose, in how the engine bay presents. So clean, so well thought out...really helps in being able to maintain these cars. As an older & retired person myself, I prefer to work smarter, not harder. ✌😎
Gary, I remember you. I was just getting in the ironworkers back in 85. You were out in front showing everybody how to do it right. And your still out front . The car is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes I'm currently working on an old 64C10.. I have no road map to follow, I'm just doing what I can with limited funds. But I'm still doing it. This is. A og way from Flintlocks brother..my hats off to you. Let me know f you need somebody to help out, I don't care in what capacity. I just want to learn the right way to go about it James Juarez former ironworkers local 118.
I know this car , have been next to it in staging lanes many times. Know Gary too. This car is far nicer than this video gives credit for. Sooooo clean .
Being an Iron worker is a tough way to make a living. I was a Sprinkler Fitter, and the only people working above us were Iron workers. LOL! Great car. Love the flat hood!
I need to score the smoothie one-piece bumpers for the 56,,before they are a bazillion dollars a piece, uh-Oh!,,Too late!. Guess they will be made of glass. Nice profile,,thanks NHRA. The bump button.,,on the firewall please. Get your fingers away from the hot and turning.
This announcer is less than desirable at his Job, unfortunately it seems acceptable at this time ! Positive note ; this is without a doubt one of the cleanest & nicest 55 Chevrolet drag car on the planet ! You can tell in a second when a person takes pride in there ride & this Gentleman absolutely Does..... I prefer a "Post Car" anyday ...... but there's not a nicer 1955 Hardtop anywhere ! Beautiful Car !!!!
To me, a 55,56,57 tri five race car should be a Sedan (post car). A Sedan is about a foot shorter and lighter than the longer Hard Top Body style used here. Might as well have a race Cadillac as this long hard top. Only part on this car that is 55 Chevy is the front clip. It's the only body part interchangeable with the lighter Sedan.
It's obvious that's a clean ride.......very NICE !!
Beautiful car!
This '55 is sweet! ✊🏽
Wow !
This 55 is nicer than many show cars I’ve seen, wow!
Beautiful Piece Inside & out!!! Best Appearing anyday!!!
Like a Black Jewel❤️
I use this line a lot when i comment " What's Not To Like " Great Hot Rod, Thank you for the Video.
It's a NHRA legal Super Street race car, they have an index to race for. This car is a work of art. So much attention to detail, it's staggering.

Beautiful car, the guy knows what he's doing. I would have liked to know the horsepower but it was never asked.
If there was a decent interviewer which this guy Sucks, we could have know more specs on this stunning 55 Chevrolet.

Post’s are a dime a dozen. Gary,s 2 door hard top is an original piece of work!
That guy's voice is SO ANNOYING, this is the only program I can't watch from the NHRA.
This must be the worst announcer in the history of NHRA...... he sucks !
