  • Introducing P.A.C.’s Heavy Rescue Tool Mounting Team:
P.A.C. takes the confusion out of how to mount your Heavy Rescue Equipment. No matter the manufacturer or model of your cutters, spreaders, combi tools, rams or struts, P.A.C. does have a mounting solution that is appropriate, tested to be safe, easy to use and designed to last a lifetime.
Typically, a two-point mounting system is used to mount rescue tools:
    • An impact-resistant pocket to lock the base of the tool into position and provide cushioning, support and distribution of the weight; as well as
    • A positive locking bracket on the other end to firmly secure the tool while providing ease of access and removal.
The first step would be to select an appropriate base for your tool.
Most spreaders and combi tools will fit the working end into the 1026 Spreader Base. It is designed to accommodate vertical and horizontal installation and it’s made of super-tough, impact resistant materials.
Larger spreaders, cutters and combi tools will fit the working end into a 1035 Heavy Rescue Pocket - which can be mounted Vertically, Horizontally, as well as on 45 degree angles.
Amkus cutters and spreaders, when mounted, typically rest on the manifold end. Most older models will rest in the K5022 or K5024 kit - while the newer models will rest on the universal K5021 kit.
Most of the Rams and Struts available will rest in one of the four footprints built into the 1022 Ram Base (which has 2 sizes of round and 2 sizes of square impressions built in).
Amkus rams, however, have a special shape best secured by the K5023 Amkus Ram kit.
Any other oddly-shaped bases or adapters not previously mentioned can be custom-framed using a grouping of individual 1007 Universal mounts which are impact resistant yet provide cushioning and can be custom positioned for weight distribution and centering.
Any of the Paratech Strut adapters will Lock safely onto our exclusive 2076 strut base mount.
    That covers the bases.
Now, let’s pick the right bracket for the opposite end of your equipment.
Depending on the size, shape and depth of your equipment, the opposite end will generally fit into a Jumbo Lok, Fastlok, or Super Adjustamount. Going from smaller to larger:
    • The (1070) Jumbo Lok can accommodate equipment shapes up to 3-¼" in width. It is NFPA-1901 Certified, easy to operate and a perfect fit for ram cylinders or the control housing on many tools.
    • The (K5020) Fastlok grips 4” to 8-1/8” diameters and widths, is NFPA 1901 Certified, and can be operated even with gloves on.
    • The (K5050) Super Adjustamount is generally geared for lower profile shapes, for example cutters or spreader jaws, up to 8-½" Wide.
    • The (K5020L) Fastlok Long grips shapes up to 13” in diameter and is also NFPA-1901 Compliant.
    • And the (K5060) Extended Super Adjustamount holds Lower profile shapes up to 20-3/8” in width.

All of these brackets are made with Super strong, anti corrosive, UV resistant materials with stainless steel fasteners
And best of all, they are made by Performance Advantage Company, known worldwide for its Lifetime Warranty and Outstanding Customer Service.
