A harrowing experience. It was supposed to be a fun and exciting stream where I watch my RUclips oshi try to pull for my ZZZ oshi. Instead, it became a stream filled with total victory; complete domination without any regard for the cost. I was the first person on the block. It started off on a loss, which wasn't really surprising, honestly. It was to be expected, and I personally have come to terms with it. Someone from the crowd jeered, asking what the nekomatter was, which was rather apt...and amusing in a way. I was expecting a game filled with coinflips and bargaining with the elder gods for divine blessings...and then it happened. She found an accursed melody. A melody which, in name, should be reminiscent of warriors past, "Entry of the Gladiators" as they call it; yet...it didn't feel like such. It was terrifying watching my oshi descend into madness with every win. This melody wasn't calling out to the warrior's spirits...it was an invocation, to call the spirits of these colorful, red-nosed humanoid beings. This wasn't a coinflip game anymore - it was a ritual. A ritual for total victory at the cost of one's sanity, one that rivals ones of old, used by the malefactors of the olden times who sought to wreak havoc upon the existing world. Win after win after win - her resolve to not be compared to a certain red concrete block never faltered. I felt alone...as with every piece of her sanity was being willingly sacrificed, the scallywags , also known as "chat," continued to cheer and jeer for every victory, with no regard for the streamer's sanity. I did...win, but again, at what cost? Is my oshi still the same oshi? Or is she now an empty shell, inhabited by a demented being? Alas, that, we may never know...demented beings can be good pretenders, after all. I would love to end it in a positive note though and rate the experience at least an 8.5/10...if not for my own transgressions, for after the mania that just had occured, I fell into a trance and underwent the ordeal myself. The coinflip moment arrived, I played the accursed melody...and...I won? My suspicions of it being a ritual rather than a game have been confirmed, and I felt terrified. Such an abhorrent aura manifested itself around me and it filled me with the utmost dread. On that note, maybe an 8.0 would suffice...but the pain of seeing my oshi willingly descend into lunacy was too much to bear. Final rating 7.5/10 - would do it again, highly recommend.
