- Students enrolled in our Facilities Maintenance program are introduced to the construction and maintenance industry. They cover introduction to the safety and fundamentals of
construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, welding, and landscape grounds keeping. Upon completing this program, graduates can go to work as a Hotel Apartment Maintenance Technician/
Supervision, School & Governmental Facility Maintenance Technician/Supervision, Health & Medical Facility Maintenance Technician/Supervision, Entry-level technician positions in the Facility Maintenance Industry: Hospitals/Medical, Commercial/Retail, Office Buildings/Corporate Properties, Hotels and Apartments, and Schools and Government, or other independent maintenance area earning approximately $10-28/hr./ $22,710 - $59,930/yr. (depending on location).
The Facilities Maintenance program is available at the Muskogee campus. This program is accredited by the ODCTE (Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education). It is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors who attend part-time or half a day or a one-year program for adults who attend full-time or all-day. High school students attend FREE and adults pay only $2.50 per credit hour (in-district) tuition. Financial aid is available to adult students who qualify.
