Several years ago I was pulling the dashboard on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe . Laid in on my lap and realized I couldn’t lift it off me. I was alone at night. Was a bit frightened. I did manage to weasel my way out after 20 minutes of struggling.

If that's a new gas cylinder they tend to do that until you've burnt 'em for ten minutes or, so, it used to say that on the can.

I done the alternator on my mates Vivaro without removing the front but it had no aircon.. but I would have never gotten at that starter motor, too tight there.
