- The Skagit Valley in Northern Washington State is well-known for the Tulip Festival in the springtime but during the fall, thousands of Snow Geese descend upon the fields to spend the winter. It is a bird paradise for bird watchers and photographers.

How beautiful to see them in the fields! That's wonderful! Here, we have as many in the fall but I can film them on the river. If we are lucky 1 or 2 can visit as this pair did. NYC is along the Atlantic Flyway so sometimes the geese drop in to rest and feed : )

These snow geese used to be seen a lot with us in the Netherlands but not anymore in recent years, so I enjoyed your video. This was a lot of them.

I have been seeing huge numbers of Geese myself too in the UK, 1000's of Greylags are the usual Geese in the fields, though sometimes amongst the huge flocks there is one or maybe 2 different individuals and some will study them for hours, trying to find these odd ones. I love how these sort of stayed in a nice block as they started to take off and move together. Once they spread out it was good to see the area they covered when in flight too. Wonderful and enjoyable footage, thank you. ◕‿◕

How did you get all the birds to fly together?
We just happened to be at the right place at the right time. This is what they do if an intruder such as a Bald Eagle or Coyote is near by. In this video, I believe a coyote was in the field, it was too far off to identify. Thanks for watching!
