This is now just a European coaster poll. Your algorithm is flawed. Your thresholds are set too low for European riders, which skews their preferences. It didn't make a big difference 2 years ago, but you lost half of your Americans that do the Thrilling 32 in the last 2 years, so European votes now have way more input. You made fun of me last year saying most Europeans prefer Zadra over Untamed, because it was much lower in the rankings. Now it's suddenly ranked a lot higher, but most Americans are never going to get to ride a lot of coasters in Europe...and even if they did, they would never rank Untamed as high as Steel Vengeance, Iron Gwazi, AF One, or Zadra. The Europeans favoritism of their own coasters over American coasters strongly shows up in this poll because you set the bottom threshold too low for ridership, and they rank their own coasters too high on average, so their rankings have more weight than Americans do on their own coasters. I have a friend who builds & programs computers, writes code and has created algorithms. He ran a program 2 years ago on your results and asked for a breakdown of the number of Americans and Europeans in that poll. He said your algorithm wasn't weighted correctly for total ridership of each coaster, you could have changed the inputs to balance the program, but didn't do that or know how to do it. Your math ain't mathing! An engineer should know, bad data in...bad data out. Mathematicians know you have bad data and a bad program. There are so few Americans left participating in the Thrilling 32 that the Euro vote will now always rule. I, nor my son participated in the Thrilling 32 this year...it's not fun anymore and is very biased. You ruined a great contest, lost half your participants...but don't seem to care!
