I want to see you start Forget Me Not for your birthday!!!! Colour and cotton has great variegated blacks also Roxy floss. Jacob is right...don't go too wild. It will look so classy in black or brown or even burgundy or navy on your fabric! Love your WIPS! Go ahead and finish your January. Just pin it or lace it onto mounting board. You can go back at end of year and pick fabric for second layer mounting. I want batteries! You are doing great with your stitching this year! Stay warm and healthy and start all the quakers!

Hello Sherrie from Minnesota, USA. I had to chuckle when you showed Kringles and wondered if a large project can be done. I’m here to say IT CAN BE!! While watching you hold up the Kringles pattern, I was literally putting in the last stitches for Kringles. 👏 Yes, it’s a large pattern, but there are so many little treasures to stitch, especially once you get the top roof done. 😮 It took me a few years, but well worth it. I hope you decide to stitch it. Thanks for your fun videos!

I do so enjoy your flosstube, life is too serious to treat our hobbies the same way and you have the perfect style to keep us all smiling ☺️ If I was going to introduce a second colour into the sisters I would pick 1 or 2 quakers on each side and switch the colours so you’ve got both greys on both sides. Next year why not plan a really lovely day out for the anniversary maybe to a cross stitch shop somewhere. Loved your finishes and everything else you showed. You are a dreadful enabler. X

I'd go for a complimentary colour with the sisters because they will be framed individually. I don't know which is worse losing something or putting something away safe, and it's that safe you never find it. It's usually personalised Christmas cards in the January sales. I've found cards that were for people who, when I've found them, had been on a cloud playing a harp for quite a while 😇. The sepia sounds lovely on the MFE. Bulb ❤❤❤ Batteries sound ok unless the make a huming noise 😂 Have a lovely stitchy week 😊

I would use complementary colours, that's the idea of sisterhood to me, complentary, but not the same. Lovely projects, a lot of progress on them and good fun as always, thank you for the video!

Great floss tube as always. Enjoyed it. I need batteries mine are running down. Have to try and get rechargeable but worry where I will need to stick the charger. 😂. Happy stitching enjoy your stitchy days.

I'm a little behind on watching my favorite FlossTubers, nothing unusual, & I don't normally comment but I just couldn't help myself. I'm glad I'm not the only one who misplaces their projects! Just had to relay my story & hopefully it will make you laugh as hard as it does me every time I think of it. I had misplaced a project & looked everywhere for it for months. So, I decided I would ask my cats; who were very, very good at finding things; to find it for me. That may have been my mistake! I left for the weekend & when I got home on Sunday they had skied my entire craft room closet out on to the floor. My missing project was sitting DEAD CENTER ON TOP!!! Pretty as you please!!! Couldn't get mad at them for the royal mess, they did what I asked & found my piece!! The moral is, be careful how you ask that the missing piece be found!!! I wish you luck & some giggles about where you find it! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos I enjoy them each time I watch!!

I stopped buying linen last year as I bought what was recommended/used but didn't always like when put with some called for threads and sometimes underestimated how much to buy if it needed framing as I didn't work out the number of stitches always correctly 😮 Poor maths/laziness!! I still prefer lighter backgrounds in general as they wouldn't look right against all the other ff framed pieces so the only piece generally the last to be considered is a 40ct Antique Country Mocha as my cataracts - even when I use my magnifier/light all the time - make stitching on it very hard so it is hard work! Hey ho.
Yes the darker fabrics are generally much more challenging no matter how good anyone’s eyes are. I do use readers and a magnifier and sometimes a box light underneath too. Can’t see the point in struggling if I don’t have to 🤷🏼♀️☺️

I would use complimentary colours on your sisters sampler, and on the other modern folk, use a sepia tone. It will look beautiful!!!!

Re your two Modern Folk projects I would do same fabric and a complimentary colour. Boring doing two the same! For those Modern Folk Embroidery pieces, why not keep the threads the same but change the fabric? Laura from Stitching by the Shore did that with some Quaker companion pieces and the effect was beautiful.

I don't think I could do 50 starts, this is only year 2 with multiple WIPS and I still can't make myself switch easily.
I want to do a new start... I am leaning to a fancy lady but I'm not sure which one... I really love Bella Fillapina but I haven't managed to finish the Mermaids of the Seasons SAL OR put too much work into Aquabella.
I am also doing the Forest Path as part of my 2ndmostmagnificentInkCircles Round Robin project...

Thanks for answering Sherrie😃. I've only been lucky enough to go to Scotland once for a fortnight. We drove up the west side up and across. It was stunning(November), no rain lol. The people are so friendly and kind. I can understand you wanting to go back.😃. I hope you will have your dream very soon. I live in a seaside village in Norfolk and now, winter it is soo quiet, I believe there are around 350 living here, but in summer🤬 it's full of tourists. I don't deal with people very well. I close up.Too many people. Anyway enough of me. Good luck🍀
