@@Dopai mainly that it gives insight about how pro players see the game and how their different playstyles affect the game and their own gameplay. Also key take aways and points that I can keep in mind for my own ranked games. If im watching them play live or in VCT sometimes I may not be able to notice the things that you may notice. Thanks :D
@@Dopai For me, in this video it was interesting to see the differences with his ranked play vs pro play. Pro play is not always sensible in ranked, but also some pros surely are just winging it in ranked because it's just too easy. So, it's good to have a deeper understanding of their playstyle overall.
Although i am late i just wanna say that 1) he was aggressive on haven defence because the size of the map and the number of sites as if he fights he can control one area rather than being clueless where the opponent is going 2)on ascent he basically plays fast rotate because he wanted to reinforce each site the opp go to considering the size of the map being aggressive is an unneeded risk whereas on haven it is a calculated risk
I feel like also a reason for his shift between ranked and pro play is trust. In ranked we can see that texture opts not to play super aggressive and potentially take himself out of the round quickly. I would say he does this because he doesn’t trust his teammates to be competent and do their jobs correctly. They might make a bad play and get themselves killed leaving the site free and texture on the other side of the map effectively out of the round. In contrast, in pro play, he trusts his team to make the right plays. He knows that he isn’t their only win condition and that allows him to make more aggressive plays. Texture trusts his teammates to set him up with their utility and coordination, but he also trusts that they can win the round without him if he makes a mistake.
I am looking forward to that different aim style video. I’ve been switching between 216 and 320 edpi. Both work but it’s different and I can’t put my finger on it and can’t decide what I prefer
This is great insight holy shit. I main phoenix so I don't play the meta like dive agents. But I always brute furce stuff just how you stated on attack I am usually first to take contact but at the same time I am not always with my team or sometimes I am too fast for them I am usually the player with the highest FK/FD even though I am not a dive agent. I like this video thanks dopai I will try to hit back ascendant
Love the video. Tho we only see duelist review i know they are most popular but i think going for the rotation of roles would so much more insightfull. If i was looking for any great defensive example its loud less idk if he has enough vods to do this but if you can would be awsome. Or any kind of viper/sentinel player would be great
Can we get a video on post plant analysis? How teams retake/hold sites in scenarios? That'd be awesome to get it out there so my team will stop pushing the enemy spawn when bomb is down xd
I am interested in John. He tends to play initiator in ranked which is different than his main role so it's a bit strange. But he's on the list for sure.
@@Dopaipersonally i would love one about curry, he does have very little recent pro play to analyze and he’s already been analyzed by konpeki but i think there more to be seen and i think you look into player much deeper and get a better feel for their logic and play style than any other creator who does the same type of content
dude seeing this made me realize how washed i am lmao, i used to play tf2 religously and moved from that to ow, then apex. playing valorant changed my mechanics so much, now i have to actually get used to high sens again
i think SR fl0rescent, while not really a good lead to use for game improvement, can be used when looking at peoples different styles of mechanics and how it helps them. shes probably got the most insane mechanics ive ever seen but for some reason its hard to read her strength because its a lot of speed target switching but with a higher focus over tight mouse control rather than speed. she could be a really good case study to find how different people can uise their mechanic strength
he streams on naver, most pro players have their streams linked on vlr or their twitter, here's texture's stream page (in korean tho): chzzk.me/t3xturekr
Speaking of different aim styles, I've always really loved valorant for the ability to allow for that flexibility. As someone who's particularly invested in aiming as a whole, I've always enjoyed following players like prime yay and trent, (who at least I feel are pretty separate in aiming styles), just for how different it looks.
@@Dopai the aspas especially made me really evaluate my own mechanics and I got to take notes about what kind of player I want to be. It was really inspirational and make me want to dm all day to perfect my fundamentals in aiming and taking gun fights, in this one it feels you only talked about, he plays fast rotate in ranked and he does set plays in pro, which idk felt kinda obvious. Maybe it’s just because that’s the type of player I am already to float around be ready to fast rotate and I felt this particular one didn’t help me really improve like the aspas one. No hate or anything I love your videos Edit: I liked the part about Jett knives that was pretty insightful, I would compare him to seoldam who’s currently playing for riddle but imo pretty much was 1v5 ing on dfm when we was playing for them (with suggest sometimes being an exception). I probably would have liked more insight on his movement, pathing and decision making.
Duelist Bootcamp for Plat 3- Dia 3 Duelist mains on July 15th! discord.gg/dopai
Dopai you’re so consistently insightful with practical takeaways, you will get the recognition you deserve
much appreciated. just sticking it out :)
@milesg5116it does jus do it more
@milesg5116ur a noob
@milesg5116aim training is all about consistency. You won't see results if you give up easily
some additional background on that lotus play the reason he was jumping in his seat was cause he was angry that TH didnt give him the ace 😂
haha no way. his reactions are literally 11/10
Low key upset the aim style and shooting style video isn't out. Great video~!
that's for the next video that i was working on this week. the t3xture video was the one i was working on last week
man i really enjoy these types of videos, i tried to study how t3xture played and this just saved me a heck ton of time thanks dopai
been waiting for this thanks
i see why riot games say i play like him
progression go crazy man love your work keep it up, been here since 10k subs. u can do it homie
Love these breakdowns ! very informative
What do you like most about them? Anything specific?

I think this is reasonable, trust and coordination somewhat go hand and hand in this context. Very difficult to do either with randos
Lakia is a demon
would love a video like this about demon1. love the videos as always
Demon1 the ranked grinder now. I've avoided him in the past as he never tried in ranked. I wonder if that's changed
@@Dopai yeah true, i dont see him being the type of guy to tryhard ranked. thank you though ♥
Would love to see one of these videos on players who don’t play duelist. Find the ones so far super informative
4:26 that Sova baited that he was grabbing orb so if they killed him Texture would have a crazy unexpected fight 🤯
That's crazy 🥶
discovering you through woohoojin is like discovering finneas through billie eillish
you know dopai knows his shit when he has a hauntr clip in the video.
great video like always 👍

i don't need to learn to play like him, I'm clearly already better.
Real 🤥

You should do these types of videos more. Maybe study other pros in other roles too.
Any chance you could make a video on a good controller like karon, mindfreak, etc? I main controller and I'd like to see how a pro plays the role

You're right, i do need to add other roles as well.
i watch one dopai video about jinggg and i instantly know how to play raze (no lie 100%)
Could you make a video about how to entry properly?
can you break down g2 icys playstyle hes so underrated imo
could you analyze eggsterr's playstyle next?
Can you do woot next? And implement on why he likes initiator more than duelist?
Can we get a video on post plant analysis? How teams retake/hold sites in scenarios? That'd be awesome to get it out there so my team will stop pushing the enemy spawn when bomb is down xd
Texture, aspas and something my goats
Can we get a video on someone other than a duelist main? Like a Nats or Johnqt video for example

You should make a vid for controllers :), great vid tho 👍
Who came here because Valorant Flashback?
could u make a vid on situations where to use phantom or vandal
I love the video but why didn’t you put this in the poll before this video i would’ve voted for this
could you do a video on how to play the new map as dualist JETT
Valorant flashback says I play like this guy wht does that even mean 😭
can you do a vid like this abt playing ranked like primmie
i beat you in a kill race wager on fortnite in 2018 so you owe it to me
Crazy to think that him and monyet were on the same team last year 😂 😂😅
common dopai W
Where did you find vids of t3xture playing ow? I was trying to figure out if he was a pro but literally nothing came up
i believe t3xture was known as s3xture in overwatch but changed his name due to riot
Can you do a How to Play like LOUD Less?
i have an idea on video
VIT sayf
Commenting because I don’t have time to watch right now and I feel bad hurting your retention #s. I’ll be back
he said he is using vandal when he feels fucked up
dude seeing this made me realize how washed i am lmao, i used to play tf2 religously and moved from that to ow, then apex. playing valorant changed my mechanics so much, now i have to actually get used to high sens again
can you do prx forsaken next please
COuld you do how to play like cauanzin?
Dopai check out Primmie. Hes been APAC rank 1 for 9 acts. He is the GOAT
Waiting for different aiming/shooting style video

waiting for how to play like woot: month 3

omg imagine not taking the 50/50 in ranked when ur better than 99% radiants :D
I have a higher hs% than him but I am gold 2, I have 38.5% hs which is top 0.8 percentile
ok so
only 3 views at 1 minute u fell off dopai /s
bullshit
Guy only does “How to Play” videos about duelist players 🥱
