I'm a Christian myself and I give a great appreciation to Dr. Jay Smith, he is such an inspiration for me in my learning of the Quran. I also give appreciation to fellow Christians; David Wood and Sam Shamoun, who are very well-versed in the Quran and are knowledgeable about Islam respectively. After interacting with many Muslims, any given topic in the Quran that I bring up, they ask; "where does the Quran say that?". That sounds like they haven't read their book. They insist that the Bible has been corrupted, yet I mentioned to them that the Quran confirms the inspiration and preservation of the Bible in many places. The Quran denies the resurrection of Christ, yet Jesus Christ's resurrection is the foundation of Christianity. The resurrection is documented history, 500 eyewitnesses saw Jesus.
I am not degrading the Quran or Muslims by any means, I care for our Muslim friends. I hope they come to the truth one day because Jesus is the truth. I pray for the salvation of people of all walks of life

Hello guys ! Don't try to confuse the different types of qirat (recitations) with the version of Quran. The different types of qirat are all about the ways of recitation of the Quran. Can any of you come up with different meanings in the verses other than your contrived fabrications ? You just type "Quran wikipedia" and see the result. You will find just one version of Quran. That's the truth.

Why did it take this long to come to light the existence of different Qurans?

Because the mullahs had control of it and trained the masses to murder anyone that said anything different. Just look at Pakistan were mobs form just over a rumor that a person blasphemed.
@@theorthoguy9345 yeah. Should not hide it before this. Should show the world this different type of text such as differences between codex sinaiticus and also codex Vaticanus with the current version of Bible. Should show many version like KJV, NIV, ESV, EEV, KFC, ETC. They should not hide it.

Some of the gospel from the codex were not included in the current Bible and also some text was later on added in, example the story of cruxifiction from Mark gospel which is incomplete and was added in the latest copy. If the word of God can be added and also taken out, what make you think this codex is authentic and also the validity of the codex story can be questioning whether it's true or false if compare with the story of Jesus during the first century. Indeed there's many manuscript to this date and some probably have not found yet but this manuscript was a copy after copy after copy in which has written down centuries later.
Regarding the letter that you mentioned by Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Cesar, there's no earlier manuscript that can hold the authenticity of those letter. As the latest manuscript (the letter) that we have was a copy after copy and those copy were found probably around 3rd or 4th century. As a matter of fact, Pontius Pilate vindicates Jesus in the letter as oppose to just relaying the facts about the events to Tiberius Cesar allowing him to draw his own conclusions about the events. I also think if Tiberius Caesar read the letter, he would have had Pontius Pilate removed from his position if for no other reason, to defend his own authority in the region, the authority of the Roman gods and the authority of Roman rule.

Back to the topic, as I was mentioned earlier, same story but different details of the storyline does not shows that the story actually happening. I can say that It probably happen or it did not probably happen. I give you some example, Paul meet Jesus in which his disciple mentioned that they heard voice but no vision in which the other story version was that the disciple saw light but no voice. The event can not happen at the same time. It need to be choosen either one and if you choose, it got another problem to know which is the correct story.
It's same with the story of Jesus before cruxifiction in which some version said that Jesus talk to the people and some version told us that those people only mock and spit Jesus without communicating with Jesus at all. This contradicting is crucial to know which is the correct version as both event can not happen at the same time.
You can say that the story is the same but different details of the storyline is crucial to determine which is which. I'm not an atheist as I believe in Islam but I also believe in proof and also logical thinking.
Yes you can mention 99% the same with the current Bible but I can share the list to you which books that is not inside the Bible today but can be found in the codex. Thinking logically, if the current version of Bible can take out those gospel in sinaiticus or probably Vaticanus, what make you think those codex were really correctly writing and copy from the first century?
These series should be on Mainstream and with many subtitle options...

Dear Sister, todays all different versions are well enough evidence to say there is nothing for sure can be considered for ultimate guidance of our humanity.
Bible ( todays versions) itself say this is not The Book Jesus was preaching to people of his time.
In addition to that many places many things about same events are different reported by so called writers ( no one knows who are they), but generally Christians claim they know, but no solid presentation, just arrows in air.
I have collection few versions of Bible, I studied them, and also have few books as well.

If you listen or watch the many other video's on this subject, you will see that there are numerous differences in the different manuscripts , which often have completely different meanings. The Quaran is not and has not ever been "perfectly preserved". The good thing with Dr Jay's video's is he produces the evidence for all to see.

No, David Wood posted a video recently explaining he & his wife just became parents & the new babies have health issues that have consumed a lot of time.
This might very well be the most uneducated nonsense I’ve ever heard in my life. When I first saw the title of the video and watched the introduction I was genuinely questioning if perhaps I was misinformed about Islam and if there are secretly many Qurans with a conspiracy covering it all up.
But after getting through the series my fears and doubts immediately disappeared as I realized that you two have no idea what you’re going on about. When you claimed you’d expose the fact that there are multiple Qurans I was genuinely curious if it was something to be concerned about. But then you proceeded to misrepresent and mis-explain information about the 7 Ahruf (accents that the Quran was revealed in) and 10 Qiraat (ways/styles to read/recite the Quran) that every Muslim learns about as a child in the worst and most ignorant way possible, making it sound like a big deal and a source of controversy when in reality it’s such a minor part of the religion that every Muslim knows about and no one has an issue with because it in face isn’t an issue in any way…
If you genuinely believed anything in this video as proof that there are multiple Qurans and that it’s all a big conspiracy, then I urge you to dig deeper to find the truth. Challenge yourself to fight against any bias you might have against Islam or the Quran and look further into this if you have any shred of honor or dignity in you and care about the truth to any extent.

As you know the Quran as well as most Muslims do. I would like to ask did Gabriel ever identify himself as Gabriel to Mohammed . As far as i know in the so called first revelation to Mohammed in the cave. Mohammed thought he was possessed by the Devil and it was Kadijah, who told him its not the Devil but The Angel Gabriel. So again my question during the remaining revelations did the Angel ever tell Mohammed its me Gabriel (or some such words of identification), or did he assume its Gabriel because that was how Kadijah identified Him?

I remember going to Taraweeh prayers in Ramadan as a kid. Our sheikh was from Senegal and he had the Quran memorized in Hafs and in Warsh. He would often switch between the two from one night to another and I always thought it was odd. Even asked my father why he was reciting the Quran wrong. He assured me he wasn't reciting it wrong at all and that its all the same Quran. But even as a 10 year old whose second language was Arabic I could tell the meaning was different between the two. This was in the late 90s. Needless to say, I left Islam a long time ago.

The Reminder(114 Surats) informs us that there is a Tradition which claims to be an Apostolic Tradition but rejects circumcision while the Apostles were all circumcised, the Apostles didn't believe in Trinity, and prescribed a dietary Law in Acts 15:22-34 which the said Tradition rejects. You can argue the authenticity of the Quoran all day but what really shoots down the claim for the revelaes word of god are the Hadith. If the quoran really was the word of god revealed to man, why does it need so many books to explain what it means, dill in the gaps and generally explain and correct it.

To you Muslims ,you have been telling everyone in the world, that the Qur'an as been written in classical arabic, and there are no translations, from arabic to any other langauge, and yet now to day we are seeing translations of Qur'an in other langauges, the different types of qurans are not about translations or ab o it different types of Arabic dilect, it's about different words and different verses in the many types of Qur'an to you muslims give it up, the Qur'an is based on fables and lies.

@Bj D not really a big problem for Islam as the authenticity of the different version can be questioning. The same with the different version of the Bible. It still can be questioning as the current Bible nowadays was added in and taken out from the earliest manuscript codex sinaiticus and also codex Vaticanus. All of the manuscript was later on wrote down in the 3rd or 4th century in which can be questioning the authenticity of it.
