Oops! After publishing, I noticed portion of audio recorded on Interview Pro was not recorded in Stereo - that was my error (remember, I’m learning new stuff). Let me assure you, in mono or stereo the Interview Pro sounds great!
I have had Go IIs and now 3 sets of Rode Wireless Pros. I have two interview Pros now. One statement or wish you had in wanting the mic to go wireless with phone and iPad or whatever, like the DJI II, should have been phrased another way. You can still go wireless to the devices with a receiver attached. The wish, which is a good one, is connected to any device via Bluetooth without a device. I have not tried it, but can you download files on Iphone and Ipad through go central?
You cannot download file from Go 2 or Interview Pro direct on iPad or iPhone via Rode app, nor will iPad or iPhone files app see it as a drive to open. You are correct with the receiver connected that Go and Pro can connect to iPad iPhone.
Go 2’s and Interview will work with ipad and iphone so long as Go 2 (or other compatible Rode) receiver is connected to ipad/iphone. You will be able to record (and save files) directly to any audio app on your ipad/iphone - GarageBand, Voice Memos etc. If you save an audio file directly to the “internal” memory of a Go 2 transmitter or Interview Pro transmitter and then plug the transmitter (via usb c) into the Ipad/Iphone - the Ipad/Iphone can not read the file saved on the transmitter (you need a windows or Apple computer to do that). In summary, the Ipad/Iphone will not provide access to files saved directly on the internal memory of the tramsmitter via the Files app or Rode Central app. Hope that helps.

Hey, Mark! Nice job… you held my attention and your presentation was very interesting . Best regards, Richard
Thanks so much Richard. Best wishes to you guys!
Great video, Mark! RODE makes great mics, and I've used several of them. This one sounds great and I could see it being used in a run-n-gun situation.
Thanks Matt. I didn’t think I would like it, but I do. Stay well,
Great job Mark. New Subscriber.

@@markexploringnewstuff Oh, so even with the receiver connected, can you not download the files?
