- While Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim remains optimistic about Malaysia’s ranking for the World Competitiveness Ranking (WCR) Report next round, he said that drastic measures will be taken if the ranking does not improve.
Speaking at the 47th annual general meeting of the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) on Tuesday, June 25, the Prime Minister joked that he might have to make "some minor reshuffles to the Cabinet," eliciting laughter from the audience.

Fuel subsidies has been for ages. If WCR drop because of fuel subsidies it should have drop a long time ago.

1st is weak currency.
2nd is withdrawal of diesel fuel subsidy.

Yes brother anwar, you can improve the cabinet by firstly firing the housing minister, the health minister and the education minister. These three ministries are the main pillars of the country and the public's wellbeing. Affordable housing, affordable healthcare and proper education will all be a pipe dream if these three are not replaced. Additionally, you can also relinquish the finance minister's post for letting the ringgit slide to an unprecedented level. Furthermore, isn't it in PH's manifesto to allow a minister to hold only one portfolio?
