    It was cool to hear that part about Santana because I read Santana's book Universal Tone, and I can see where he would connect with that song. He's always talking about your inner light. His father went by farolito which means something like little lantern and Santana is always voicing to "let your light shine" in his book. It was similar to what Everlast said in this interview. We don't need to search for something great or try to create it. It's already created for us. We just have to get out of the way, act as a conduit, and let it shine through us.

    I used to love Jump Around. I used to do the little scream loop all the time. My dad thought I was corny as hell for liking it. When it was time to go to Sam Goody, he was like I'm not finna buy you the full tape, but the single is ok. I must've wore him out because I played that cassette single all day. That's as far as it went though. They did what they could.

    • @adamwitner4410
      @adamwitner4410 5 лет назад +2

      LaChele I think that scream sound is actually some sort of horn, probably a trumpet or sax sampled from some old jazz record. Jazz samples were everything for hip hop of that era. Listen closely to it next time.

    Busta n Eminem sampled Jump Around on a track not long ago "Calm Down" ironic that's the same advice yall living in the past need...
    There is a track out there with Eminem,Busta n Everlast on it that Scoop Produced coming . So read up on shit before you post old ass hype. The beefs are long over.
    Everlast was a friend to Nate Dogg as well so get over the Quick beef OLD OLD OLD.
    House of Pain still remain as one of the most talented , credible and respected white groups in Hip Hop.
