Like the older deepsea d blue with narrower watch band, looks bigger and better than the new one....but all deepseas kick ass and make all other subs , gmts , timid....always go bigger and stay with Rolex.
I have he DSSD and love the blue dial, but prefer everything else about the SD43. The 43 has the. Perfect size. I’m not a big fan of the Sub, it’s just too dainty for me, and DSSD is just a tad to big, mostly in the thickness. The 43 is perfection in terms of size!
Just sold my D-blue and I'm in search for SD 43. While I loved the dial on James Cameron the weight of the watch was too much for me, it felt like wearing a brick.
I have the DSSD 116660 & I love it, but had I been shown the James Camron version I definitely would've bought that one instead. I love the James Camron so much I just may buy that one anyway. It's something about that blue dial & green lettering that makes it beautiful. And I love the history behind the James Camron DSSD. I love that it's 44mm & I wish it was a little bigger bc i love large watches. Anything under 44mm is too small for my wrist & body frame. BTW you forgot to mention that the case back on the James Camron is made of Rolex in house grade 4 Titanium. Great video & please keep them coming.
They both rock. Get both . Sd43 more versatile. Both big . If you can wear an sd you can manage the deepsea. Same size and weight basically, deepsea just 2 mil taller, either or will do
I find that winding the 126600 has quite a bit of resistance when compared to my Batman and hulk. I’m assuming it’s due to the new movement and power reserve? Mine is a week old purchased from my local AD but I also handled another and the winding of the crown was the same.
I'm on the wait list for the D blue deep sea @ my AD. Rolex was the first water proof watch and the deep sea is the ultimate water proof Rolex! I also like large watches so it was a no brainer for me! The gradient blue dial and green deep sea lettering is just icing on the cake! The beast is The King 👑 Rolex!
Question: I just purchased the 2018 Rolex Sea-Dweller 43mm and like the one you reviewed, it also doesn't have the Rolex crown logo in between "Swiss Made." When in 2018 did Rolex start incorporating the crown logo in between "Swiss Made"? Some 2018 Sea-Dweller's have the crown logo.
thank you for the review.. love the 43S-D . the Deepsea dial is a Mess. i HATE that inner lock system ring, and why so much Text ???!!!. all that clutters the dial and makes it smaller. the Sea Dweller is so much nicer and cleaner. IMO.
Steven Ortelli...your wrong. Two versions of the 126660. The earliest 126660’s did not, but later 2018-19 models have the crown at the bottom. Hence Mark I and Mark II...
why does the title state '2018 Sea Dwelller 43mm' yet the watch shown is the pre Basel 2017 version. Post Basel 2018 watches have the Rolex crown at the 6 oclock position same s the JC Deep Sea.???
Rolex were still shipping the mk1 dial in 2018, they must have had stock left to shift. I know a few guys who received mk1 dials from AD's right up to Oct/Nov 2018
This is a feature to distinguish the watch face from the mk 2. Its used in the same way on other mk 2 Rolex models as well. This also helps you easily tell if you have a franken-watch with a swapped dial on your hands.
What an amateurish review, he says the DeepSea doesn’t need a cyclops because of the thickness of the crystal it magnifies the date????? I am better off maybe listening to a sales person from a Rolex AD hahahahaha
These people can’t wait to rip you off. Just go to thier website and see the outragous prices. They have used watches they claim to be new. They are not an AD, so everything they sell is used, and without warranty. Crooks like these are the reason you can’t find a watch at an AD.
I think the SD43 is Rolex’s best dive watch ever.
People have commented that the D-blue looks smaller than the size suggests.
43mm is the perfect size

I wear the 44mm DS SD . I am sure the I would. ❤the SD43 as well. I am leaving my 40 mm Subs to my daughters. ❤⌚⌚
The deepsea has a beautiful dial, its the one id opt for...
It’s not the standard black Dial. It’s a special Matt black Dial on the SD43
Just order a deepsea. I can't wait its a long wait though but no worried

Have both hard decision! But James Cameron wins barely...
@deepseadweller687 , lucky man but I'll bet u get more compliments on your James Cameron.
I have the black dial deepsea vim wearing it again

Black deepsea is the best
SD 43
I have the deep sea , it's a bit heavy, but it gets a lot of attention.

Still waiting ?

@@davidofglenbrook4487 It was verified as a Mark1 Dial and and it’s absolutely authentic.
SD 43 is THE best dive watch in THE world.. period.. just sayin
thank you for the review.. love the 43S-D .

I got a new deepsea 43 this week it’s big for my wrist enemy one need it
that's a 116660 not a 126660. bracelet is incorrect as is font on ring lock.
Daniel Salkinder only the 126660 has the crown in between between “swiss made”
Steven Ortelli...your wrong. Two versions of the 126660. The earliest 126660’s did not, but later 2018-19 models have the crown at the bottom. Hence Mark I and Mark II...
What is the retail price for DEEPSEA BLUE ( JC ) . Thanks

I have the deep-sea James Cameron which doesn't have the rolex crown in between the Swiss made stamp. Why is this??

I find it funny that we're comparing these dive watches bc I'll bet that less than 20% of people in these comments actually dive 🤔
D-BLUE Dial... For me N1!
What an amateurish review, he says the DeepSea doesn’t need a cyclops because of the thickness of the crystal it magnifies the date?????

You go big or you go home...I wish the deepsea was a tad larger# no wimps here
