Queen Elizabeth is one of the most gracious adorable people of the world. She is such a true loving person, never sending vibes like she would rather be somewhere else. I have admired her from day one. I collect bone china cups and saucers and a friend from England offered to trade me this beautiful set of a plate, saucer and cup honoring Queen Elizabeth II inscribed in gold "HM Queen Elizabeth II, crowned June 2nd 1953. A great picture of the Queen and her 2 small children . My husband's and my name are inscribed in gold lettering on the back of the dishes . This is a 3 piece set and the cost to me was a pair of silk nylons! I tried to pay my friend for this priceless set of bone china but she just wanted nylons! I feel so honored to have this set.

I live in the US and have no ties to the crown but for some reason I keep up with what the ROYALS do.
I don't know why anyone would be surprised that The Queen didn't know who xyz 'celebrity' was... why the hell should she? I suspect she was too busy to sit around listening to the radio or watching every show on every network.
