What are PCBs used for? They basically just replace a breadboard and make things easier?
For mass production and making full product
Hi - I spent years building on breadboard and strip board. PCBs are faster to build on, much more reliable, and you can have several in stock, populated and ready as replacements. In addition if you were selling a product - people would expect a PCB solution rather than a breadboarded one.

I always use Green for input boards, red for boards that mainly do processing, and. blue for output boards, - but its. your choice.

This Vid is about designing a PCB. from concept to Gerber files. If you want to take a Gerber file or a PCB track image. and develop a PCB from it that's PCB manufacture. Most people don't want to get dirty with track etching etc. so this Vid is fine.

KiCAD vs EasyEDA which is best ?
I never used kicad but i think both have their advantages and disadvantages.
EasyEDA has the biggest advantage that its online. And we can search parts on lcsc and directly import it in easyeda

Everything else is so expensive.
I guess I will start with open-source software.
I tried it once. Then i kept going with easyeda because its free and easy
