There a countless of tutorials on RUclips explaining percussive / slapping techniques for fingerstyle guitar. For example "Percussive Slap Technique - Acoustic Guitar Lesson Part 1 - The Basics" by Gareth Evans is a good one or "6 Percussive Fingerstyle Techniques & 15 Exercises - Guitar Lesson w/ TAB | LickNRiff" You just need some patience, you will get it over time!

Do you find that the trinity and the anthem are best suited for live performances , and the Nt5's are best for recording ? Thank you for your help, I'm trying to decide on a microphone/s for recording just with a small interface and a mac. I have Logic , but yet to learn how to use it, need the interface and the mic/s first. The NT5's in your hands sound supurb. Thank you for your inspiration. cheers
I'd like to use the Anthem as well, but I'd need an interface with more inputs, my priority is the stereo pair of mics. Yes the pickups are almost exclusively for live work, mics are always best for recording, but a DI can be a nice addition for options when mixing

@@JamesBartholomewMusic there's no such thing as being self taught 😂 in life, you either pay someone to sit with you for an hour a week or you watch RUclips videos. Either way, you can't get amazing at guitar without learning from other people, in one way or another. ☺️
