”Who can find a virtuous wife?". This is the question western men are asking daily as college has become satanic debauchery indoctrination centers where women voluntarily engage in behavior that removes them from the wife material category forever.
I have such a wife. I didn't find her. The Lord Jesus Christ brought her to me. I'm blessed beyond measure. Glory to the Lord Most High.

We take these verse way out of context. I see that because we know all our sinners or rather we're not perfect and we stumble in many ways and so if marriage is a picture of the gospel then that means when our wives fail us we forgive them we take them back and we never leave them or forsake them and we cover that's truly how you love the church like Christ and give her life for her for your wife

Avert and redirect your attention to something God-honoring. That’s all the Lord expects from you. Let her be accountable to the Lord for her sins, and you for yours.

You forgot one… don’t marry an unbeliever/ don’t be unequally yoked. Being married to an unbeliever is hard. Being married to an unbeliever who believes that they are an actual believer is even harder.
Can confirm. My wife is convinced she's a Christian but blasphemes Jesus' name, never attends church, denies John 14:6.... It's very difficult to overcome these things.
@@happsider my wife blasphemes Jesus’s name a lot and I told her how I felt about it and all she said was “don’t go preaching to me” and then she admitted that she does it because she knows it angers me. She says she’s ok with me reading my Bible but gets mad when I do it in front of her ( or at least that’s it seems like). We try to have a Bible study together but she’s get mad every time I tried to explain a verse to her or go into depth with the Bible. And she like to say “since you’re so holy holy” in a derogatory manner. It’s hard and breaks my heart. And a long time ago she told me that she doesn’t care if she goes to hell because that’s where she belongs. And when I tried to preach the gospel to her she didn’t want to hear it and said she wasn’t it the mood to talk about religion. I want nothing more than to share my love for Gods word with her but she makes it hard to do so.
@@Jude1ministries Wow, it sounds like you have it worse than I do. My wife is supportive of my church and ministry work, but just wants nothing to do with Jesus. It seems your wife tries to intentionally belittle your faith. I am sorry, that must be very stressful. There is certainly comfort knowing God is aware and is working in her heart, even if it's slowly or not in the way we want. You are in my prayers!
@@happsider thank you. I definitely need them!! And I’m glad you’re wife is supportive of your ministry and service. That makes things a lot easier. I teach Sunday school and that was a fight at first to do but she’s over it now because she knows I’m going to do that regardless of what she says. I pray one day though that I can actually go into ministry and become a pastor, but she’s told me before that I could never be a pastor and that she can’t be a pastors wife. I’ve also been told that I’m not yet qualified for it due to my wife’s spiritual condition but if I still wished to do so it will put a bigger strain on my marriage because it her condition. So I just stay the course, I pray for her and our marriage and the strength to continue on this path. I know God has a plan and I have faith that he will complete his plan in due time.
@@Jude1ministries she probably does not want you to become a pastor since she knows you will receive a lot of attention from Christian women. She must guard her property at all costs. In the mean time just keep praying and study hard.

Hard one to swallow as my wife and are at odds (wits ends)... I'm doing my best to follow what the LORD says, commands and encourages... Really hard to speak with edification as I've lived a life with a split tongue until my transformation... That's when God sent the Holy Spirit to assure my tongue of a dragon was tamed... However, I'm of the flesh, I make mistakes & I slip my lip and sink the ship... I take full responsibility for my part... It's hard to never be forgiven... It's hard to let go of my past as it's always put into my face...😢

I spent 27 years with a woman who would not forgive, would not take responsibility, would not apologize. She pretended to be a Christian, but I never recognized she wasn't doing the basics. All the unbalanced church teaching about men taking the lead only kept me trapped in this abusive relationship until I was destroyed. I pray your marriage isn't like this, and I hope you find wise counsel that will help you to see clearly. Deliver us from evil, O Lord Jesus.

I get married March 2011 to woman who doesn't want kissing, hugging, or sex. She left October 2012. She finds out I am a Christian in 2016 then she filled for separation 2017. I did not find out until I visit her 2019, she was cold as ice with me. She tells me not to witness to people infront of her. So I told her to go sit in the car when I do the Lord's work. Annulment time, filed September 2023...still waiting for God's will.

This is why as a divorced middle-aged bachelor, I have serious doubts if I ever wanna get married again. Relationships are very stressful and I don't deal with stress very well. I used to be afraid of being alone and I made some bad relationship choices because of that insecurity. Now, I am still afraid of being alone at times but it's much nicer coming home to a quiet home than one where you have to walk on egg shells, afraid to fail or live up to expectations and be constantly reminded of your imperfections.
You have a LOT of good personal insights about yourself, and your openness about the negative things offers you a good chance to over come them! getting honest with ourselves is often half the battle or more! Bless ya brother!

Hey all! I unfortunately am a living example of just about all of these issues. Almost everything Todd mentioned is why my marriage failed and is unfortunately beyond repair. If you don't surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ and seek marriage on a worldly standard, even though you may be seeking marriage with Jesus in mind or saying He's at the forefront, it WILL fail. You would do well to pay attention very closely to this video and remember it before you even think of getting married. Take it from me, I lived it, and messed up hard enough.

A few years ago, my sister met someone after having been involved in some bad relationships/having her heart broken and also being single for a long time. There were some things about this person that were concerning to myself and my family but we were happy she had met someone. They ended up getting married but those concerns just continued to come up and in some ways grew even bigger. They have been married for a while now and this person's behavior has not changed. Please pray concerning their relationship, for the other person and for my sister. Thank you.

Both of my parents' respective families have abnormal levels of control over them even though they have been married for years. This has always been a problem even before I was born and has caused so much discord in their marriage and our family. Both of their families have gone out of their way to proudly cause problems in their marriage and now I'm seeing that behavior firsthand myself due to some conflicts that have happened in the past few years where their family members have tried to break up our family. Please pray for them, their marriage and our family.

Not true@@theeternalsbeliever1779 . Sometimes a spouse will suffer in their marriage even though they are relatively innocent and place Jesus first. We are expected to suffer in this life and that can include marital issues.

You are very wise! Its smart to have good models to build upon. It takes longer, but you are far less likely to have to start over again! measure twice, cut once!
I'll give you a tip for finding the right life partner; learn about red flags and don't be afraid to go your separate ways. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be patient, loving etc. Just learn that somebody who exhibits unacceptable behavior is only going to get worse when they know you're "locked in."

My wife and I had so these vary problems. I was find my self looking out side my marriage at women walking around and being very disrespectful. We prayed together and sought counseling. From our pastor. But we are growing strong 💪 together in the LORD.

Praying for those who desire to find a godly husband or wife in this madness we call society. Also praying for those who have decided to remain single, and that both demographics honor the Lord whether it be in their marriage or singleness.
My wife’s grandma gave us advice when we got married that has helped us tremendously. She said if we ever disagree about a decision regarding anything at all, my wife gets one “but sir” and then it’s “yes sir”.
When we bought our first house, I wanted a different one. My wife gave her one rebuttal (but sir) and it changed my mind. When I decided to move my wife and children to California she gave her one rebuttal (but sir), it didn’t change my mind and I said we were moving, and she said okay (yes sir).

#2 before I was even a Christian I used to liken marriage and sex to a brick house. Sex is the mortar and the bricks are your feelings and bond to your spouse sex without that bond is just mortar on the ground and doesn't make a house and only having bricks but no mortar the first storm the bricks will fall and the house will collapse.
Wives can also suffer from porn addiction. It comes in the form of romance novels and movies. Most have very explicit sex scenes.

Pray the scriptures over your life, discuss what you’ve read and ask the Holy Spirit for deeper understanding of the Word and ask Him to help you live a holy and righteous life. That part is hard because our flesh doesn’t want to submit.

Physical sex is an outward picture of something internally. To the couple in covenant with one another in Love (that is to the could who practices loving each other, being full of service to one another) 1 Corinthians 13:4 and 1 Corinthians 7 then their sex is much more enjoyed with one another because of their inward intimacy they have built with one another. It is like a person tending to a garden. If he doesn't constant work evetually the garden will die. The same with the soul of the individual. The covenant will be dead/lifeless. Have no meaning whatsoever!
Having been a pastor for about 25 years i can say that pornography is not just a "man"/ "husband "thing. I think we all wish it was , but it's not.
Another aspect often unmentioned about pornography use is that these men often have frigid wives that don't put out. I really think women should appologize for making their husbands resort to porn.
Pay attention to number 5. I am afraid we are headed for such a terrible event.
As a divorced man, I would urge my brothers to take heed to the Apostle Paul's teachings. If you are unmarried, don't seek a wife. Remain as you are. To marry in the USA is a terrifying thing for a man.

Women, you are responsible for your intentions when you dress for the day. To honor your body with respect, avoid (to the best of your ability, bc there are some situations we cannot/could not have prevented regardless) risking your safety in this fallen world, and for your brother’s sake to not lead him into temptation. Let the man be held accountable for his sins against you, and you be held accountable for your sins against the man. Both sides share blame in the way they have devalued women. It’s long past time to hold ourselves accountable.
Another thought on the subject of lowering loft expectations:
Marriage is a magnifier to our sins, not an alleviator of them. Only God can help you work out the sanctification against your sinful nature.
Let me ask, my wife before and after we got married, cheated on me, we were not living a Christian life, but I turned my life to the lord and have been for the last 3 years, even still she cheated on me, so after that we've been separated and will most likely divorce, am I doing anything wrong?

Walk in the flesh is to walk in your own human behaviors that align with the world. To practice their ways according to your original sin nature. Too overcome this, you must practice (fist from within) the fruit of the Spirit. Practice in Greek is to construct. Like in construction there is a blueprint established and one works backwards starting from the blueprint.
I think some people weren't meant for marriage on this earth, me included. I get mad thinking about it. Look to Jesus. Let Him guide you. Just because you got the plumbing and the drive doesn't necessarily mean it's God's will for you to disperse "rivers of waters in the streets" (Prov. 5:16).

@@EdTheWretch Sometimes having the fires of lust turned up is God testing a person to see if they'll hold to His hand. Often tho, burning with lust is only a symptom of deeper problem - a warped concept, estranged from reality. I've seen this over and over, even with immediate family. I used to have such a messed up viewpoint myself.

Did you know that the term "burning with lust" is particularly talking about premarital sex desire for people who should be married because God making them wired them this way.

I’m not marrying a cult
I really just struggle to love my wife and everything she does annoys me. I don't know what to do. I married her as striving to be a Godly man and she has just ripped my relationship with my family apart and also hurt me in so many ways I don't know what to do. I am depressed every single day. I go to war with myself to wake up each day and I have no one to speak to. We have two little children and I do my best to be there for them, and so does she, but we don't sleep in the same bed together and I think we're both just repulsed by one another by now. I don't want to say I don't love her, but I don't know how else I'm feeling. I loathe being at home with her and I find it better when I'm spending time with the kids on my own and her doing the same. I honestly can't stand being around her anymore and I feel trapped, because I'll never consider divorce. I feel too weak to pray like I used to and too depressed to be happy. I think this is my bane... I used to be on fire for God before I met this woman, and I was doing a lot of missionary work and discipled teenagers when I was a young adult. I had such zeal and hope and now... Now I just feel empty and a longing for what once was... 😞

Why are you still with her if she’s “hurt you in so many ways”? You can’t hide that from your kids by staying with her and that’s even worse staying in a loveless marriage.
@@unvaccinatedmgtowfitness Because I made a vow to her and more importantly, to God... And we love our kids and we're a family unit. Separating would be devastating for them and for us I think. Things have been a bit better lately, I hold onto the Lord, my only hope.

What do you do with a husband that won’t repent from porn and it’s been over 35 years? He is extremely abusive emotionally to me . I keep praying but he is getting worse . I fear the lord and I always make myself available to him in the bedroom but I cry afterwards privately in the bathroom, I always feel raped. He flirts with women both online and in person. He says that I have to stay and endure the abuse, that’s what Christ wants and that he hasn’t had a physical affair so I have to stay.
Two things. Find a church community if you aren't already part of one. Then seek an elder/pastor for mediation and marriage counseling. If your husband refuses mediation with a church leader then it could actually be sinful for you to stay in this marriage.
Thank you for the reply , I appreciate it .. He unfortunately won’t do church counseling , he doesn’t think that he has a problem . It’s time to leave under counsel . I pray that he comes to Christ and is saved and that will always be my prayer for him .

According to 1 Corinthians 7 marriage is also a restraining grace of God. One of its intended purposes is to keep men AND women from falling into sexual sin. If we are being biblical and following the advice of Paul in 1 Corinthians 7.. you will be FAAAAAR less likely to lust or struggle with porn etc.

A lot of women don't want sex because their s/o doesn't know what to do or is cruel. Also ok physical issues do exist for women. Men don't realize it or just ignore and expect someone to enjoy it nonstop without any effort.

@@rachelm9350Most women are not virgins these days, if they're having trouble feeling good with their husband its typically because she made some bad decisions before meeting him; or she stepped out on him and had a different experience and has compromised her bond with her husband.
I would give you an olive branch and bring up the fact that there are still some virgin women out here, who won't have issues with their husband because he is the only one she's been with and she never seen porn (also really rare of someone this days), but the fact is the overwhelming majority of women today are not pure like that.

I would be cautious about #2. Some people may marry then later they are unable to have sex because of a health problem or have issues. Love means you don't just marry for sex or sexual experiences. It's long-suffering. So you gotta be cautious about #2. Also a lot of women don't want to have sex because men don't listen, communicate, or know what to even do (because they didn't ask) so it's unpleasant for the woman. So just keep that in mind. I think there is a tendency among men to blame women for their sexual frustration...they need to look in the mirror. Women do want sex, I think just as much as men.
In my case it was my husband who never wanted sex. Now I have health issues from that, believe it or not. If you don’t use it, the woman gets atrophied in menopause. Now I can’t. I blame him and I resent him. So the rift is now even wider. He’s become a good man after many years of neglect and emotional abuse, but I stay for the children and for the Lord.
And maybe men don't want to listen and communicate because there is no sexual connection. And some women use sex as a weapon to get their husband to submit to them and invert God's order.
Sure, but if a spouse chooses not to engage in sexual intimacy with their spouse, then they too better be completely celibate and not be engaging in the sexual pleasure on their own, or in any other shape or form. It's one thing to be sexually impaired or physically disabled, but it's a completely different issue if you're simply just not engaging in those activities with your spouse.
Why do preachers today not teach the scripture. The problem today is divorce and remarriage. God says that's adultery. And no adulterer will get to heaven. Read the book !!
