I've used Seafoam for years and I never had any problems. Of course, I follow the instructions on the bottle and only use the recommended amount of Seafoam to treat my gas tank. It's NOT a good idea to dump an entire gallon of Seafoam into your gas tank. Because TOO MUCH Seafoam or fuel injector cleaner could burn up your valves ...causing internal engine damage.
Yeah, his spark plugs probably got damaged from him overtightening them with the impact. Plus, Ford won't warrantee his new engine anymore after he screwed it up.

There is a reason why you have instruction on the back of the container and first time ever seeing someone using an impact gun to remove and reinstall spark plugs.
I add it on the Tesla every time i charge. Works great!!!

Nobody ever once told you to put a whole gallon of seafoam into your car. And I generally don't use seafoam until about 80 to 100,000 me around the clock.

Bent spark plug is a clear indication that it was the wrong one. U cracked and or broke ur piston
This video is a joke, right? I mean, NOBODY is stupid enough to pour a hallon of Seafoam into a half-tank of gasoline AND use a drill/driver or ID to remove and re-install a spark plug.
Sea Foam was originally developed for 2 stroke marine engines. What you did, was basically the same as dumping an entire gallon of kerosene into the gas tank. Plus it doesn't work as described, in direct injection systems.
This is great! Should fill your tank with only seafoam for best results though

Forgot this is a new engine, which means it needs no such additives. You need to follow important engine break-in protocol. Also, a bent electrode on a spark plug is very serious and might point to mechanical impact of the the piston(s). You are taking way too many risks with your car.

The last time I seefoam it was far less not a whole entire gallon. More like 10 oz or something ridiculously low like a big difference from 128 Oz.

When it starts it up it goes oh it sounds pretty good it sounds better than it normally does.. it does not it sounds absolutely horrible you done fucked up!
I just ran 2.3 gallons of this stuff through a 2019 Suburban with a 5.3 flex in it. It is an ex limo and had 2300hrs of idle time recorded and was running like a pig. It had half a tank in it, I threw in 1/3 of a gallon. I drove it to 1 quarter tank and poured 1 entire gallon of Seafoam into it, I then let it get to 1/8 of a tank and added yet another whole gallon of seafoam. The idea being that this engine has so much idle time that extreme measures were called for. Once I ran it almost out of fuel I filled her back up with good old regular gas. She purrs like a kitten. It then had a slight cough every now and then so I figured it had a sore throat. I fired a can of Seafoam aerosol down the intake engine side of the AFM module. Yes sir, that's a new engine. Purrs like a kitten and idles sooooooooth as butter for as long as you want. All the life had come back to it. Now its not a fat happy pig, it's a fat kid at fat camp trying his hardest. This engine came back to life and is now far more responsive and efficient. My MPG has gone up significantly, probably 5 or more to the gallon. I did an interstate run for 150 miles to get my readings. THIS CHIT IS NO JOKE.
Seafoam was made for older engines. New modern engines are not made for it.

there is a reason why they say 1 ounce per gallon for sea foam on can. and second there is a reason there is torque specs on tighting down spark plugs man (impact really) unless you meant to damage engine, or is this a video of not how to do things?

When using seafoam, the two things I was always told is to not use too much or use it on a already full tank.
If it's a brand new engine, then why did u use it. You know that if u use to much premium gas and any gas treatment that its not good for it plus it will cause the engine light to go on untill you refill with only unleaded

I may be wrong, but this seems pretty satirical to me. I've used seafoam for years and I only own fords. I've never had any issues whatsoever, and I always use more than the recommended ammount.

Very interesting observing the results of your tests. I have wondered about some of this stuff myself. One tech point: use a torque wrench to tighten your spark plugs. Do not guess what the torque is by using an impact driver or some other non accurate method. You can strip the threads, assuming they are aluminum. One unrelated point: You keep saying "go ahead and, go ahead and, go ahead and." I used to say the exact same phrase and had to train myself to stop. With other people it's a different expression, like "in terms of, in terms of, in terms of." I'm pointing this out to help you, not to criticize. Take care of your investment. Get advice before you do anything questionable to your engine or car. Thanks for the videos. Nice car. God bless.
Nothing wrong with ford he doesn’t know how to follow thr directions or In general don’t add stuff like that to your gas if you want to protect your new engine add top tier gas with 89 or 91 octane it’s extra detergent to keep everything clean

It showed you had a perfect burn nice tan color! Is this guy for real? I can’t believe someone would be that stupid. At the same time I don’t know that a whole gallon of Seafoam would do that. It would prob cause it to misfire but not bend a spark plug electrode. That means the piston most likely touched the plug and smashed it. Or he faked it by bending it, installing it, and taking it out on camera.

Looks like your spark plugs got too hot. Suggest fill up on 93 or 91 octane. To further dilute seafoam. Gap new plugs to .028
