Looking forward to this series, I digital journal myself but i absolutely love watching the kind of content, it's so relaxing and I can live vicariously through people like you!
Hehe! Nice to see you here! I hope you enjoy the videos. It’s interesting because while I’m fully analog for my journalling I’m nearly 100% kindle for my reading.
You’ve probably figured it out now but you need to press down on the clear finger guard to secure your paper/card and then when you slice it with the guillotine, you will get a clean cut. I have the Tim Holtz one a bit bigger than yours and I was getting frustrated until I realised. Now it cuts perfectly every time and I love it!
Really embarrassing 😬 I was watching a video prior to your one and the comment was meant for that one 🤦🏽♀️ Your video was lined up next in my watch list and automatically started playing. Sorry! I am looking forward to watching your series on how you make your own notebooks though. They look awesome!
Hey! There are so many options when it comes to covering the notebooks. Gift wrap, magazine cutouts, printables. The composition covers are a print out I made. In the second video in this series I’ll be talking about covering materials and I’ll include a download for the composition covers ☺️

So excited for part 3. I LOVE comp books but always wish there were better options for papers
Me too! I don’t know what it is about them but I’ve always loved the look and feel of them.

I actually use an IDEAL 1038 now to make my notebooks. So much easier than my previous model (though that still has its place and use). I love it!!!

Great video! Super excited to see how you do this….your work is beautiful.
Thank you! The next videos will be up on Wednesday and Sunday so stay tuned for them. Do you think you’ll try your hand at making your own notebooks?
LOVE the one with the vintage road maps
Wow, where do you find cover paper?
