    I liked them all except the acrylic pour one…. I thought your canvas ones with the gold leafing were gorgeous they actually looked high end and very modern!!! Dollar general has kits such as these like make Pom Pom animals, string art stuff like that, you should make this a series 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think a lot of people would love to watch, I know I’m always curious what those kits are but don’t care to spend the money to find out… Thanks for the review it was wicked fun!!

    A tip for others that do this project I would put hot glue to make a barrier around the wood and the ends that are on either end to hold the resin in. They she have said that in the instructions, but just so u know.

    I’m so excited to try the resin pour kit!!!
    I have done several paint pour projects in the past and loved it.
    The gilded foil looked very interesting and I will more than likely try it at some point.
    Great job on the marble pour!!! My favorite color is pink 🙂

    You can use a hair dryer on your pour paint to move the color or get bubbles out. Fun!

    I do resin art and I love it! I recommend silicone molds to start with and make sure you have proper ppe like gloves and a mask since the fumes can irritate your lungs.

      Is it one part resin to two parts hardener?

    • @victoriam6442
      @victoriam6442 2 года назад

      @@jenhallam7940 it depends on the resin you buy. Some are 1:1 ratio while others are different. So far I love the unicorn art resin the best and it’s 1:1

    Keeping in mind these are geared for children. These all look pretty good for beginner kits for kids. Not bad at all. I would do the resin kit, I thought that was pretty cool. I think peel paper and sanding off would of helped. I’d of used a food grade finish and made into a cutting/board. Looked pretty awesome

    I bought all the stuff to do resin, including molds, dyes, silicone tools, a heater for air bubbles, and a huge respirator because the fumes can be irritating. Well, I was so nervous about the entire thing that I had no fun! It wasn’t worth it to me.😂

    I know you said you had done pour painting before and I watched you do it but I was wondering do you mix your paint with a pouring medium and put a drop or two of silicone oil with it because that's the proper way to pour paint I've done it for awhile and was just wondering did you do it like that and after you pour the paint you'll start seeing bubbles come up and you're supposed to have a torch you can do a small hand like a lighter torch and just get right above it and let the bubbles pop but you gotta get that torch over it fast you can't let it sit in one spot you gotta jiggle it over it fast so it can make all the bubbles down below rise up and pop I hope this helps you or maybe you're already doing it the right way I don't know I just like to help I'm not trying to criticize you in any way I love watching your channel

      Thanks so much for the tips! I always use a pouring medium in my acrylic paints but I didn't for this project because I tried to stick with the ingredients they provided to see how it turned out for someone if they didn't buy any additional items :) The instructions said to simply thin the paint with water so that's all I did for these.

    The reason the one crack is because the paint was way too thick you didn't dump enough off
