One time, I had the great opportunity to hang out with Grampa Jones at a festival. If you don't know, Grampa Jones was a banjo player and a cast member of Hee-Haw, a variety show that starred Roy Clark and Buck Owens. If the name Buck Owens rings a bell, you may be thinking of the duet he did with Ringo Starr -- "Act Naturally". Of course, Ringo, in addition to being a musician, really was an actor. One time he played in a movie called Caveman, which was hilarious! His co-star was Dennis Quiad. Of course, Dennis Quaid is more known for his dramatic rather than comedic roles. For example, he once played in a movie about the gruesome death of a famous actress. The movie is called "Jayne Mansfield's Car", and another actor in the film was Kevin Bacon.

I’ve had a bit of a crush on Kevin Bacon since I was 12. After all I was a preacher’s daughter from a small town. I wanted a big city boy to come to town and change my life. 😂 I love that he loves playing bad guys considering he seems like one of the nicest guys on the planet. He hangs out on a farm with one of the sweetest, loveliest women ever and plays music for goats. His Instagram is just so uplifting.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick while working in the Hamptons for a few days for a summer college job a long time ago. They were the two sweetest people I met that week. I was raising money for an environmental lobby group which required knocking on doors. The Sedgwick-Bacons were welcoming and generous. I know that it is a risk to meet the people one admires. More often than not it is a let down. This was not the case. We ended up chatting for 45 minutes over a glass of homemade lemonade. They asked me a bunch of questions about the work we were doing to protect the local bodies of water. Then we talked about a shared affinity for the beach, especially after dinner evening strolls. They're truly a lovely couple.

Kevin has only been to the Oscars one time during when he was promoting footloose. It's insane! He should have won dozens of oscars at this point. Definitely should be on par with Meryl streep. He's so underrated yet in more movies than any single actor in history

I am pretty sure that when Kevin got killed in Friday the 13th, it was an arrow that went through him from under the cot. Not a knife. OK, I typed this comment about 20 seconds too soon.
