      And why did you add the warden on the breast pad instead of the main fabric?

      Thanks 🙏🏽 yes I added the warden on the linen and not the main fabric.

      Okay ma but please may I know why.....cause I've been adding mine to the main fabric or ankara

      @@uzombachinenye00 most times when it’s on the fabric it tends to squeeze or wrinkle. But when it’s on the lining it helps the outer part of the fabric looks good. But it’s your choice though, you can still put it on the fabric if You want.

    Please after contouring the upper part, you didn't add back what you contour.... how did it match up with the yoke without shortage

    • @Elegancebymonique
      @Elegancebymonique  2 года назад

      I added half an inch Seam allowance on the main fabric. On the contorted part that I removed so it will tally with the yoke and also added seam allowance on the side

    Pls I know why you slope the shoulder by 1.5 instead of 1. Thanks

    • @Elegancebymonique
      @Elegancebymonique  3 года назад +1

      You can use 1 inch too. The reason I used 1.5 is because I used half inch for joining which will automatically become 1 inch. Pls 1 inch works fine.

    One question: why did you leave out 2inches allowance at the sides of the fabric but half inches on the other parts?

    • @Elegancebymonique
      @Elegancebymonique  3 года назад +1

      The half inch is for joining on the dart parts, remember we cut through the darts . It’s necessary to avoid shortage while joining. And the 2 inches is for the side allowance. It’s better to have excess than shortage so u be on a safe side. 2 inches or 1.5 on the sides is fine. Hope you understand.

    How will I do Amendment with inseam finishing

    • @Elegancebymonique
      @Elegancebymonique  3 года назад

      Easy. You can loosen a little side on the lining around the hip area for any amendment and afterwards topstitch it.
