  • I show what a Sine Bar is, what it is used for, and how to get the correct angle by calculating the gage block height with Microsoft Excel.
    Using formulas in Excel is very accurate, and saves time in repetitive calculations.

    Great vid, thanks. If have 3 boxes for degrees, minutes and seconds, how do I find the gauge block height from the 3 criteria?

      So quick answer is that decimal degrees = degrees +minutes/60 + seconds/3600 I will try to make a video about it soon.
