I love how you can see Tomato go through the five stages of Death in this stream:
1. Denial: Tomato starts the Stream, thinking "The game can't be that bad."
2. Anger: Tomato gets angry at the game for not picking up on what he said 4 out 5 times he commands the NPC to move somewhere specific.
3. Tomato admits that the game doesn't work very well, but says "I'm enjoying it so far."
4. Depression: Tomato grows steadily more frustrated by the NPC's apparent sass and hijinks; this phase is comparable to the Joker moment(s) in more recent Tomato streams
5. Acceptance: Downtrodden and done with the world, Tomato accepts that he probably won't be finishing this game; NPC gets shot, end of stream.

How you deal with somebody else dying depends on your relation to that person and the circumstances of their death, for example, you'll accept the death of an old family member with health issues rather easily - there is no anger, depression, denial or bargaining involved.
The five stages of death, however, describe how a person deals with their own approaching death, because of a terminal illness, for example.

Reminder: If you select the audio test at the game's main menu, you have to say "Life Line" into the microphone.
If you do indeed say "Life Line", the game will insist you are wrong.
However, if you say "Rife Rine", you will pass the audio test.

I heard somewhere the best way to play is to fake a japanese accent to get it to register some words more effectively.
Fun fact: Since this game was made by a Japanese studio, the voice system is way more responsive if you put on a Japanese accent, since it was tested and made by Japanese people speaking English

Gnome, thank you so much for this! This game is one that in theory I like watching people play, but even as a viewer can be so frustrating to watch because the voice control component is so bad. Don't know how Tomato didn't have a brain aneurysm playing this. Can't imagine putting together a highlight from it was easy either!
