UPDATE, So it seems lots of people are still having issues doing the jailbreak so it might be an issue with the device you are using so one thing you can try is the luckfox pico as my ps4 seems to jailbreak a lot faster and more consistently with no fails so far. I just dropped a video on it ruclips.net/video/HMlWX7gQbG4/видео.html and the device is like $12 so they are cheap. If someone who is having issues can try this and let me know how you get on that would be great for others struggling.

Yes bro, you need to run the process everytime you restart. But second time you will not need a pendrive because the payload file already found in your PS4 hard disk storage
For me the pppwn isnt doing anything and on ps4 it keeps failing but its not sending data to the pc any ideas on this? Ive done everything in the video just the last bit is not working for me
@ARG I found the issue I was dumb lol I didn't catch that the ethernet cable had to be plugged in from pc to console I still had the pc connected to my router, I do have another question I was playing dead rising says mine is version 1.1 but the cheats for the game are for ver 1.0 but I can't find that version of the game, anyway to update the cheat to 1.1 for that game?
@@ghostface9171 if you used ps4 cheat manager you can update it via GitHub but if it’s not on that you can manually update it via usb so try and find the cheat file for the version 1.1 online. I don’t know any sites off the top of my head but I will have a look and see what I can find.

I will still do switch content but nothing to do with custom firmware, mig switch, and install chips including soft modding. What I will still be doing is repairs, shell swaps, reviewing accessories, and when the OLED screen is released for the with lite I will do a video on installing it.
I followed all the instructions perfectly but towards the end it says STAGE4: Arbitrary payload execution. Sending stage2 payload. Done. I also get the Cannot connect to network (NW-31274-7) message but I don't see the PPPwned or the GoldHen v2.4b17 package install messages. But on the Loader I see the done message. Am I doing anything wrong here? I suspect the payload is not getting copied over to the PS4 during the process. How do I fix it?
I had this problem and the issue was I had forgotten to insert the usb with the goldhen.bin file into the PS4 so I am guessing your problem may have something to do with the usb stick

yes as its tethered just like the 9.00 jailbreak but you don't need the USB memory stick after the first time as gold hen will copy itself to the ps4 hdd.

So you have to have the ethernet adapter if you're using a laptop that doesn't have an ethernet port... great. I struggled with this stupid zip file for hours because it wouldn't let me put in the password to open and just realized I can't continue because I don't have the adapter. Just ordered it and it'll be here overnight. Well, I'll try again in the morning. Guess I'll continue playing Bloodborne at sub 30 FPS.
no as if you try and log into psn it will need you to update the firmware and if you do no more jailbreak Now some have found a way to still get online with 11.00 but I would not risk it.
I installed Perfectly and Runs but is there way to play games while internet connection is off ? cuz after i disconnected internet and restarted ps4 the goldHen Dissapeared
all ps4 jailbreaks are temporary and must be run every time you turn the console off and on again so you could just use rest mode to get around this. you can run games if you are offline as long as the game supports offline play one game I know will not work is Gran Turismo 7 as it needs a constant connection to PSN.

@@ReziMG yeah you can play games without an internet connection as most PS4 games don't require it you can use the wifi on the pi to pass the internet to the ps4 but you don't need internet at all.
My PS4 keeps repeatedly hard crashing (i.e. shutting itself off and not turning back on unless I press the power button) during the middle of the jailbreaking process while following this method. Any help here?

Idk what I did but I messed up and ended up deleting the whole file. I opened it again and ow it will not let me out the password in to extract. The first time it let me put in the password. Idk what else to do. Please help. Edit: if this happened to anyone else, try using Winrar to extract the files and enter the password. This is what fixed it for me. File explorer refused to let me enter the password again no matter what I did.
It might be an issue with the ps4 not picking up the USB stick so can you both try another USB or format the current one to fat32 as that might also fix it.

What have I done wrong. I done everything correctly and everything seem to install perfect. I had GoldHen installed and the system software said HEN 11.00. I switched my PS4 off to go do something but when I came back and turned it on everything I had done was gone and it was back to just saying 11.00. What went wrong?

no you need to use the one for 10.50 or update to 11.00 as most devs are working on that version as it the latest supported jailbreak version. Update via usb stick.
To solve the issue, follow these steps: - Open File Explorer and navigate to the root of your primary disk (usually C:). - Go to the "Users" folder and find the folder with your username (the name you use to log into your computer). - Inside your user folder, locate and open the "Windows" folder. - Inside the "Windows" folder, find and open the "SysWOW64" folder. - Look for a folder named "Npcap" within "SysWOW64". - Open the "Npcap" folder, select all the contents inside it, and copy them. - Return to the "SysWOW64" folder and paste the copied contents directly into this folder. This process resolved my issue, so it should work for you as well.
sorry for the late reply so I hope you have fixed this but if not try a different USB stick or try format it to fat32 as some USB drives can be a bit iffy with the ps4.

Yes it’s a tethered jailbreak meaning every time you turn it off and on again you need to run the jailbreak so use rest mode and you will not need to do this.
Some people are having issues and from what Modded Warfare said in a video people are looking into these issues as it should work if you are on 11.00 but it could be a timing issue. I guess for now you need to just wait.

If you turn it off or restart it then yes you will need to do it again but if you use rest mode and have the setting in goldhen to support rest mode then the jailbreak will stay.

sounds like its not reading the usb drive, try another usb stick to see if that sorts it or format it to fat32.

It’s firmware based so 11.00 or below, now when it first released they had some issues with some ps4s but I think it’s all fixed now.

If you turn it off or restart it then yes you will need to do it again but if you use rest mode and have the setting in goldhen to support rest mode then the jailbreak will stay.
