I have a pheasant 10w cranking out wood smalls for my small business. As soon as I can afford it I’m going to get an f1 for quicker production and wider range of product materials.
I am on a squeaky tight budget, and have been using the library's glowforge. Really want to get the xTool F1 so I can have something in the house and not wait for availability or time to get to the library. That said... Is Christmas the only time they go on crazy good deals? or is there another holiday that might come sooner with great price reductions?

What kind of power would you need to cut foam (to make foam inserts for cases), assuming you don't care much about speed? Would a 5- or 10-watt laser be able to cut thick blocks of foam (say, up to 10 cm / 4 inches) by doing multiple passes, or is there an advantage to doing it in a single pass with a more powerful laser (other than being faster)?

where can I find some inverted cone burrs for the stylo. The only packs I find on Amazon have comments like "doesn't fit my Dremel". I'm a newbie, and honestly don't know what sizes fit the Stylo (which is not with me right now)but i've done a couple carvings and you've talked about these bits as your favorites many times. Anybody else want's to chime in? I'm all ears. I've got a decent collection but no invertrd cones😕 Thanks

I would get the sg1, sg2 & sg250 from lasco burrs. Get the multi chuck attachment from Dremel
