JALEN HURTS should be proud. I still remember the summer of 2022 when everybody was saying how Hurts is not trustworthy for a starter QB position, and how the Eagles won't make it past the 1st round of playoffs...
Same goes with the Chiefs, nobody (except for Chiefs fans) believed they would win the SuperBowl this year. These two teams are CRAZY, they proved everyone wrong. Congrats to both teams!!!

Watching this reminds me of ancient Rome. Why does the team owner even gets to touch the trophy. He is like a Lanista. Useless when it comes to the game .The trainer and the players deserve more recognition. They get treated like gladiators. Admired by the people but under it all , still slaves. I've been a Chiefs fan since early 90s (Joe Montana was QB). After all the losing and mediocrity we endured, this is an amazing feeling!!!
Bill Kenny and Tod Blackledge for me. Blackledge was the worst draft pick of all time. We could have drafted Marino, Elway or Jim Kelly. They were all right there when we picked and we bombed it with Blackledge. I also remember Steve DeBerg and Dave Craig that were actually decent QB's. Trent Green is my 2nd favorite Chiefs QB of all time Which also means I went threw the Elvis Grbac and Matt Cassel days. Joe is 3rd because he only played for us for 2 years.

My two favorite teams are the Chiefs and the Eagles, and my two favorite QBs are Mahomes and Hurts, so I was conflicted from the first play till the final tick. But that holding call at the end was total BS! It potentially changed the game.

That second half by the Chiefs is what Champions are made of and that defense being able to hold the Eagles off was amazing. Go Chiefs!
Just as Larry Bird said when he didnt play well the first half: "there are two halfs" and Mahomes and all the team played as they should. Eagles had the chance to put it out of reach but didnt.

No, I'm sorry but the NFL is trying to tell everyone they are rigged at this point. 2 years straight, bengals and eagles. let's not even Forget the afc championship game with chiefs vs. bengals. I'm a fan of none of these teams, but the refs need to start being held accountable or they MUST implement a rule in which penalties can be challenged.
Also, it's easy to say a team has a bright future, but you really don't know that. We can say that for so many teams just to see them never make it again and their roster collapse.

Let me tell you my favorite young players in the league.
Kadarius Toney and Isaiah Pacheco.
I have been supporting Toney even before he got to the NFL, as a gators fan. I saw how electric he was back at college and he was one of my favorite players to watch. I love Isaiah Pacheco’s storyline, 7th round pick from my moms college, got hella moves, and some sick hair! I am so proud of both of them, getting a touchdown each in the super bowl could be a huge morale boost for them, and Toney with that punt return. Congrats boys!

What makes 2022 amazing is the fact that The Phillies lose the world series and Eagles lose the superbowl. Not often a city loses championships in a different sport in the same year and I love it. Mahomes deserves MVP. Hurts had to get AJ brown and a solid defense to reach the SB. Mahomes did it without Tyreek hill

Both teams played an incredible game, but that last call by the refs was completely wrong and uncalled for. Would have liked to see both teams play to the very end.

@@himura357 we are also upset because it simply wasn't true. Technicalities are what got the chiefs to the super bowl as well, and it's what won it for them. Our defense was slippery but 35-35 and seeing them play to the end would have been absolutely incredible! Someone higher up needed the game to go their way.
