If I ain’t mistaken on that compressor you have, the air end was available through eagle pump & compressors in Calgary in the past, and you probably could still get parts through them if needed.
That is correct, I’m not sure if they are even around anymore. I knew at one time I went to the factory for warranty to get a replacement electric motor.
That's the problem with society regarding waste. People are so wasteful, when something breaks they often throw it out. Even cars! If everyone was mindful of controlling waste, inflation would be non exisitant! More product would be available and there would be far less shortages. This is a lesson for everyone to think before you try to dispose of something that could easily be fixed or reused for another purpose.
Last year, as I was painting my Camaro Z28 my compressor motor blew up, raining parts through out my garage. Apparently the piston bursted under pressure, made in china. Anyway, I wanted to say that compressors do fail. Any cool video Jerry, thanks for posting.
if you use the end of the board(the end grain) i found out it seems to cut the gaskets better. just sayin what helps me.
Good info, thanks.
I was going to say, haven't you done this repair before? You said on the other cylinder.Yep....👍👍💪
Very Good 👍
Nice fix!

Yes agreed instead of being disposable, things should be made modular so it can be swapped out easy and put back into service

compressors have a one way valve. you dont need to drain the air.
how thick is that gasket maker material you are using?
And Bob's your uncle 👍
Or Robert is your Mother's Brother...😁😁👍👍
WOW 😍😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯
