thanks to Timm on discord for showing me the 2d cursor trick
epic mspaint thumbnail art by me
if you have question just make a comment
They've fixed this finally! the default template file has been made slower so you dont have to follow this to get a reasonable car speed, but if you still want to change it a bit...
Hey where can i find the updated default template?
Perfect soundtrack and ending, and helpful - thanks!
Thanks dude. I really thought I was about to have to model out a whole city lol
Thanks a Lot! I had a medieval canon going 300km/h. Didn't seem accurate to me..
🤣
I laughed so hard
Best tutorial on the internet
watch out andrew price :riker:
wow thanks blenderman, I was getting super worried about this
awesome tutorial! Graph editor still gives me nightmares and i'm making a speedy vehicle so i think i'll stick with default speed for the time being at least lol
Great stuff - something I thought was off but was maybe just me. Would be cool to model a really close-set street and actually play it normal speed ( with Rush E in background of course ! ) :D
Thank you so much!!! This is really helpful for me! :D
Very cool. I realized my Jeep was doing like 150 on a muddy road, now I can fix it! Haha. Thanks!
And If you want to scale down the car:
1. At frame one, create an empty at the cameras location
2. Parent the car control empty to the empty just created
3. Scale the empty by 0.1 or whatever scale you like
4. Scale the y-location keyframes of the car control empty by 10 (1/your value from 3.) as shown in the video
Let the pizza delivery man deliver his pizza 🤦♂️
Yo thanks so much!!
bro your a life saver
🔥
thx
How to do, a camera follow the car?
.6 speed works best fr me
I'm from the future using blender 8.01, does this still work?
yes
how do you copy this animation to another car i just cant get it right!
at 1:03 how did you bring that circle thing on the graph editor?
It's probably too big for you to see ist. After pressing scale, scroll with your mouswheel. Not sure in which direction, but I believe it is towards you.
yeah what he said
is it possible for you to upload the file somewhere to be downloaded? tried this but always have issues
sure, but you're emilianof26 that I helped in the discord right? i understood you had figured it out?
All selected values reset after scaling. What am I missing here :)?
this is due to you having the normalize option on; what's happening is the scaling is happening exactly as you'd expect, but your display is making the animation curve fit on your screen
Do you know how to slow it down in unreal engine?
I don't, sorry
EE
which software is this?
It's for blender
is that allowed in the rules?
yes!
