Weasel said that Nate has only fought 155ers and Leon is too big for him when all he had to say was “Nate Diaz seems to have it all figured out when he’s fighting midgets” 🤣
@@katafadasian The weight-cut to 155 is a bit hard on Nate now, another reason why the 165 weight-class should exist. Guys who are too big for 155 but too small or weak for 170 (which would become 175 if 165 were ever created) need some place to go. I think the UFC missed a big opportunity with GSP vs Khabib to happen at 165 to crown a champ there to promote a new division.
@Rainbow Dirt Holloway is the same height as Diaz and fights at FW. O'Malley fights at 135 and has the same height. Tony is the same height and fights at LW. Same with Cerrone. @Rainbow Dirt I never said Diaz is not bigger than McGregor. I never even mentioned him. You just wanna insult people over the internet to vent your misery. And everything else you said is more or less the same. Most athletes cut massive amounts of weight to go into fights. Leon is huge compared to Nate. Nate is a 155er, more or less the same size as Dustin (something they've basically confirmed by asking for 165 division repeatedly). Have fun being wrong. Next time you try to reply to someone try to be less of a toxic child, actually think, and you might not come off as a sad existence. Bye

At the 18:15 mark, the only mention of LAUREN MURPHY versus JOANNE CALDERWOOD was betting odds by sponsor? Their fight will most likely determine who faces VALENTINA for the FLYWEIGHT BELT. Big stakes for both girls and I expect a WAR. I also expect this fight to move to the MAIN CARD before they throw down in the ring.
I'm not dissing WMMA, I watch all the fights, but that is not likely to be too exciting. Murhpy probably controls against the cage for 3 rounds. 125 is just hard to get excited for, Valentina could beat both in the same night
Over analyzing the main event like everyone else. It’s literally Adesanyas reach.... his striking looked good but not amazing against a guy who had good reach like Blachowicz. If Marvin can find a way to deal with that and get him to the ground it’ll be his fight to lose, if not it’ll probably be a long long long night for Marvin.
Someone who knows what they are talking about which is refreshing compared to all these idiots who think izzy is just going to have an easy night. It's these type of fans like Conor fans who really ruin the sport. They aren't real fans, they like flashy stuff from big mouths. Once their fighter loses they will slither away until they find a new fighter to Stan.
@@MarkWalmsley where does Marvin win then? He was getting tagged by Holland on the feet, and he had to wrestle for his life. Marvin’s stand up is slow and he’s a walking punching bag. Stylebender has elite takedown defense, Jan takedowns weren’t that skillful his size was the big factor. Yoel, Brunson, kelvin, and Tavares all failed in the wrestling.
@@luisanthonyserrano9326 look I'm not saying izzy is going to lose, I'm just getting upset because izzy fans won't even entertain the thought which is stupid. We know marvin can take him down and control him as he did it a few years ago. Marvin has also been training with elite grapplers for the last few years since which izzy hasn't. So if marvin has come a long way with his wrestling then this could really be a bad night for izzy. We know what izzy will do, strike, if you strike with him you lose, fact. It will be wrestling that takes the belt from him at 185. Can marvin do it, I think he can but it wouldn't surprise me if izzy win a decision. Will marvins stamina hold up for five rounds of wrestling, again I don't know. What I do know is holland is a much better grappler than izzy and he was outclassed in that area by marvin. So it is that I say there things are people say "you casual, izzy is going to ko him in round 3". If anything I'm the furthest thing form a casual as I am really breaking the fight down and not just throwing out stupid predictions.
@@luisanthonyserrano9326 izzy take down defense is not elite, theres no chain wrestler in MW division, none of the ppl u mention win their fights with wrestling like usman khabib dc and cloby, izzy TDD is better then holland due to his footwork, but holland hes way better on his back, izzy hes terrible on his back very poor defense, jan mount him and took him down without any problem, from half guard he made a very smooth transition to mount, when was last jan mounted someone that easy? he not just the weight, izzy hes sick striker but hes ground game overrated
I've watched a handful of prediction shows today & a lotta folks are talking like Leon Edwards is some kind of striker. Not sure what they're seeing that I'm not but I'm pretty sure Nate throws twice as many strikes per minute. The odds are certainly suspect but maybe it's just my love for the Diaz brothers taking over my logic.
@@mahonp Leon is a striker though, he's very technical and quick with good footwork. He doesn't exactly throw the highest of volume but he's patient and picks his shots. As long as he doesn't do anything stupid like brawling or diving deep into a guillotine he should be perfectly fine. Leon has sound fight IQ, its his fight to lose.
@Rainbow Dirt The comparison was based on the odds, not the weight class of the fighters. Edwards was the biggest favorite on the card & in all fairness, Diaz should have finished him. Leon Edwards is the only true WW Diaz ever fought. Conor, Pettis, & Jorge all spent more time fighting at lower weight classes. Diaz has never fought at 145.
Hey Weasle, I was wondering if you’re gonna make The Who really won series with the close fights if you could do Conor vs Nate 2 and/or Marvin vs Izzy 1. If you haven’t already, I’m fairly new been subbed for about almost a year and just wondering if you could make those breakdowns
That press conference was nuts! Totally think Izzy is in Marvin's head. Might make him fight differently. Whatchu think Weasle? Btw, thanx for the promo code. First time on my bookie. I appreciate the advice as well. We'll see what happens. I see it as play money now. If I lose it, I lose it. Stay up Weasle. 👊
Riddel by DEC Belal by DEC Leon by 4th rd TKO(doctor stoppage) Figueiredo by 2nd rd TKO(Moreno's chin might still be damaged, a lot of fighters who have big wars tend to have a worse chin in their next fight, most recent example being Dan Hooker) Izzy by 3rd rd TKO
If you watched the ceremonial weigh in Nate and Leon looked the exact same height, Leon wasnt bigger than him at all. I honestly think Nate has the experience to hang but i worry about his scar tissue being a factor every fight from now on, idk, sometimes Nate can pull off upsets. I know im not betting this fight at all. Thanks for the picks. Great video
I dont know why Sonnen is one of Maia's notable wins. Chael's clearly never lost a round let alone a fight and you weasle should know this better than anyone else
Vettori's gameplan is too much predictable, everyone knows he needs a takedown to win, Jan was able to take down Izzy in the latter rounds, and it was because Jan was also winning on the striking, I don't think Vettori can take Izzy down, different than Jan, wrestling is Vettori's only hope, I think Izzy will win 2 rounds confortably and will TKO Vettori in the third, just picking him apart from distance and find something big in the third for the finish
@@tombyrne9003 The fight was in 2018, Izzy got significantly better since, yeah Vettori improved as well but you can’t beat the current Izzy just by being a great wrestler, and Vettori struggled even against Kevin Holland on the feet
@@sdsdsa0d just don’t understand how you “can’t see Vettori taking Izzy down” when he did exactly that in their last fight and adesanya lost his previous matchup due to takedowns. They’ve both improved a lot since the first fight for sure though so I’m interested to see how this one works out.
@@tombyrne9003 Because now it is way more predictable, one big example was Stipe vs Ngannou, a takedown is way less threatening when it is that much expected, plus Jan had to beat Izzy on the striking to get the openings for the takedowns, if Jan didn’t strike as great as he did, he wouldn’t get those takedowns in the 4th, wrestling wasn’t the lone reason Izzy lost to Jan, the main reason was because Jan actually outstruck him
I like your analysis Weasle, but I have to disagree on the Figgy vs. Moreno fight. I'm not saying your prediction is wrong, but the first fight was extremely competitive. I think Moreno showcased higher level skills, but Figgy's power was just too much. I think Figuerido will win this time because he won't be cutting weight twice, but I wouldn't be surprised if Moreno picks him apart. Great analysis nonetheless 👊
I just love that these stats show Maia has shot like 240 takedowns over his UFC tenure haha. That's pretty insane. Always been a fan of Maia, but I think his cardio issues are more and more of a liability. I see him getting Belal down early and having success Iike he's done against many great fighters, but if he's not able to finish I think Belal's pace will slow him down to the point that he loses the latter half of the fight handily. I also think in addition to Figueiredo's power, it's his durability that really makes up the biggest threat. It's what allows him to pressure so relentlessly with his hands down and not be afraid of eating shots to give them. Moreno has the same durability, he might be even more durable, but he lacks the power that Figueiredo has, and as a result I just can't see him providing the kind of pressure it would take to win here.
I'm gonna laugh my ass off if Diaz Homer Simpson's Edwards and chokes him out. I haven't seen this kind of disrespect in a long time. Literally everyone is acting like Diaz is a tomato can.
@@kennyhouser3467 He kind of is against top Welterweights though, he's far too easy to takedown and the blueprint for beating the Diaz brothers is already out there. Nate is also past his prime as well with a ton of scar tissue on his face, its not a good matchup for him. The only reason this fight was booked was because Leon wants a notable name on his resume to get the fans respect, he's sick of being of overlooked time and time again. Originally it was supposed to be against Khamzat Chimaev hype train, but that fight kept falling through because of the China virus.
ive been watching the womens division a lot more lately really under appreciated match. Danas probably hoping everyone forgets about them because they dont make enough money.
Jan Blachowicz is a huge man, I met him on London years ago.. people need to understand that Jan didn’t hurt Izzy on the feet with any of the shots he landed and Israel stuffed most of his takedown attempts early in the fight. Jan also is a very tricky striker who presented threats on the feet and actually out feinted Izzy to create the takedown opportunities.. Marvin’s striking isn’t as powerful or as sophisticated. Izzy also had him hurt and wobbly in the third.. had the fight gone a couple rounds longer he would’ve got the stoppage.. I think Izzy by Kate tko
If Figueiredo gets the KO it'd probably have to be inside the first 3 rounds cause Brandon is very durable and even though Figueiredo has power during the whole fight his cardio and endurance decrease in the later rounds, it's not a coincidence that Moreno's best round was the 4th. In the 5th Deiveson had a low work rate but Brandon having hurt his left shoulder prevented him from having more volume of strikes
Vettori had a lot of trouble with Hollan during the small lapses in which the fight took place on the feet, his only chance on this fight is to make Andesanya hit the ground and be able to control him , and I dont think that will be possible. 70% -30% is really fair on this one.
I thought I was the only one who noticed with the way all these prediction videos are going. It was pretty obvious he wasn't 100% in the first fight and would've won pretty clearly had he not kicked homeboy in the balls.
The ONLY reason Moreno went to a draw was the point taken. Davison beats him from pillar to post in this fight. I got a second round finish for Figgy, particularly him rocking Moreno right into a RNC.
when nate calls someone out, trust me, he is on another level... if you missed the weigh in's, check them out, Nate got that Khabib back.. I will not be surprised if he took Leon down and took his back....
I kind of want Izzy to win so we can *finally* have the Whittaker rematch. If Vettori wins that ruins it because Izzy will get an immediate rematch with him whilst Whittaker sits out even *longer* to wait for it to happen, and has to take *another* high-risk low reward fight to stay active.
@@TheWeasleMMA lol I meant Netflix, I was watching Startup. NF is a dope artist though, I have a couple of his songs in my workout playlist always gets me hyped.
Nobodys taking about the fact that Izzy has to bulk up plenty of weight in a short period of time. That also played a huge factor for the takedown and ground control on Izzy by Jan. If you make sense.
If let's say you made a 5 fight parlay if one of the fighters you get on in that given parlay would it erase all your potential earnings moving forward like a "Game Over" sorta speak or if you would you still get your earnings even if the next 4 win that you bet on despite the first losing? Nate is a 155er, more or less the same size as Dustin (something they've basically confirmed by asking for 165 division repeatedly). Have fun being wrong. Next time you try to reply to someone try to be less of a toxic child, actually think, and you might not come off as a sad existence. Bye
Damn bro, you've gotten really good at this production value thing. Nobody does these breakdowns like you, and now these videos lookin sleek then a MF too, I re-watched with the homes and everything. Kudos to you WEASLE
so much disrepect for brandon. he will finish figgy
And he dif
Maia to Belal: "GOTCHA NOTABLE WINS!!"
Wrong again with Moreno 😬🇲🇽
'Isreal is a switch dancer', Nentendo needs to pay this dude.
Did anyone else notice that figgy and Moreno are around the same height even though it says Morenos taller
The same way Diaz is listed at 6'1" and Leon Edwards at 6' but it looks like Edwards is 1 to 1.5" taller than Diaz.
Except it's not just reach, Jan has a takedown threat and more dangerous power than anyone in MW except Romero
@@luisanthonyserrano9326 izzy take down defense is not elite, theres no chain wrestler in MW division, none of the ppl u mention win their fights with wrestling like usman khabib dc and cloby, izzy TDD is better then holland due to his footwork, but holland hes way better on his back, izzy hes terrible on his back very poor defense, jan mount him and took him down without any problem, from half guard he made a very smooth transition to mount, when was last jan mounted someone that easy? he not just the weight, izzy hes sick striker but hes ground game overrated
people are giving nate less of a chance to beat the Scott boy than they did vs conor 1...
y'all better axe somebody
I've watched a handful of prediction shows today & a lotta folks are talking like Leon Edwards is some kind of striker. Not sure what they're seeing that I'm not but I'm pretty sure Nate throws twice as many strikes per minute. The odds are certainly suspect but maybe it's just my love for the Diaz brothers taking over my logic.
@@mahonp Yeah, prolly...
Lol.
Edwards by stoppage, Figueiredo by stoppage, Izzy by stoppage.
nate by stoppage, Brandon by stoppage and Marvin by stoppage
Those are my picks as well .
All will be opposite
Moreno is a man on a mission, and still young enough to rely on his iron chin. If Figgy wins its by points.
Wrong, wrong, wrong
Hey Weasle, I was wondering if you’re gonna make The Who really won series with the close fights if you could do Conor vs Nate 2 and/or Marvin vs Izzy 1. If you haven’t already, I’m fairly new been subbed for about almost a year and just wondering if you could make those breakdowns
Any idea what the c and l mean on the corner left n top what are they n what r u differents and yeah I'd like that breakdown 2
For the promotional pictures, Vettori wore his shorts on backwards 🤦♂️
Can't wait to find out what sort of juice figgy is on in a couple years.
dude walks around at 145 pounds lol
He's on the usman juice
usain bolt is 1 second faster than all the jamaicans who got busted for steroids. moral of the story, they all on steroids
@@stephenhartley2853 I don't understand this. 1 second faster how
@@energygod2410 it was hyperbole, he is considerably faster than proven steroid cheats is the point
No cap Weasle is your best breakdown going into the fights everytime
You should do a video prior to 264 about Sean Brady. I feel he’s a real contender with a lot of potential and great grappling.
I'm curious to see how a fight between him and Khamzat would go
That press conference was nuts!
Riddel by DEC
Belal by DEC
Leon by 4th rd TKO(doctor stoppage)
Figueiredo by 2nd rd TKO(Moreno's chin might still be damaged, a lot of fighters who have big wars tend to have a worse chin in their next fight, most recent example being Dan Hooker)
Izzy by 3rd rd TKO
Great predictions
Am I crazy or does Figgy walk around closer to 160 (not 143)
@@_kengi saw this doeeee twitter.com/ThaWeasle/status/1403410533496328196
My predictions: Drew Dober, Paul Craig, Maia, Diaz, God of War, The Italian Dream
@Toneil Dariergush cool, that edited DP and ur username 🤣, LIT bruh
You thought about going Spotify too?? Help when I’m on the road or on the clock :) appreciate the content regardless!
Same! Some websites allow you to download the video’s audio, it’s what I do.
It took a long time, but Brad is finally here and getting the respect he deserves. If you didn't know now you do.
love u weasle, needed this video rn more than anything
If you watched the ceremonial weigh in Nate and Leon looked the exact same height, Leon wasnt bigger than him at all. I honestly think Nate has the experience to hang but i worry about his scar tissue being a factor every fight from now on, idk, sometimes Nate can pull off upsets. I know im not betting this fight at all. Thanks for the picks. Great video
I feel like Weasel has hit another level recently with his analysis. Keep it up lad.
What do you think about Figgy's weightcut tho? In Embedded he looks like he's having a rough one.
Dude's too big for 125, if he keeps fighting there its going to badly affect his health in the future. 135 is where he belongs.
I dont know why Sonnen is one of Maia's notable wins. Chael's clearly never lost a round let alone a fight and you weasle should know this better than anyone else
and why is Izzy not notable win on Vettoris list :)
I didn't think Diaz had a chance, but then the Weasle went and said he was gonna lose and so now logically I'm putting everything I own on him.
Davidson looks like a fighter from a 80-90s future distopia movie about the 2020s
100 % agree with all of that. Vettori looks pretty bad on the feet. Izzy will pick him apart at will
I mean they fought before and Vettori was able to get him down...I think it should be an interesting one for sure.
@@tombyrne9003 Because now it is way more predictable, one big example was Stipe vs Ngannou, a takedown is way less threatening when it is that much expected, plus Jan had to beat Izzy on the striking to get the openings for the takedowns, if Jan didn’t strike as great as he did, he wouldn’t get those takedowns in the 4th, wrestling wasn’t the lone reason Izzy lost to Jan, the main reason was because Jan actually outstruck him
Izzy isn’t a draw for me, way more excited for Figgy Moreno rematch
Did we watch the same figueiredo vs moreno first fight? Moreno had him on wobbly legs just as much as vice versa
I’m sure Leon was listed at 6’2 with a 76inch reach which makes more sense
Holy shit this cards loaded even the prelims
Hi I am a new UFC fan, which prelims would you recommend? I cant watch all because of work but would like to catch a couple
I will be betting the exact opposite you predicted
Good luck
I like your analysis Weasle, but I have to disagree on the Figgy vs. Moreno fight. I'm not saying your prediction is wrong, but the first fight was extremely competitive. I think Moreno showcased higher level skills, but Figgy's power was just too much. I think Figuerido will win this time because he won't be cutting weight twice, but I wouldn't be surprised if Moreno picks him apart. Great analysis nonetheless 👊
Marvin is fooked. His emotions are already outweighing his advantage
My man Diaz was also a huge underdog against McGregor
Leon doesn't gas like Conor.
Edwards is a much different opponent compared to McGregor though.
Im guessing there's no chance we get a breakdown of Claressa shields debut
Moreno has the same durability, he might be even more durable, but he lacks the power that Figueiredo has, and as a result I just can't see him providing the kind of pressure it would take to win here.
damn 90% win for leon
crazy
I'm gonna laugh my ass off if Diaz Homer Simpson's Edwards and chokes him out. I haven't seen this kind of disrespect in a long time. Literally everyone is acting like Diaz is a tomato can.
@@kennyhouser3467 Fortunately for you, you'll get to keep your ass on this weekend.
Originally it was supposed to be against Khamzat Chimaev hype train, but that fight kept falling through because of the China virus.
bru joanne calderwood vs lauren murphy should not be on the prelims it’s literally a #1 contender match
ive been watching the womens division a lot more lately really under appreciated match.
You and Jack Slack have the best MMA content out there mate, love it
Finally!!! The Weasle has come back, with another official Prediction and breakdown video!
You had a slight type for the notable wins for Damien, Chael P. Sonnen hasn’t lost a fight
😂
If Figueiredo gets the KO it'd probably have to be inside the first 3 rounds cause Brandon is very durable and even though Figueiredo has power during the whole fight his cardio and endurance decrease in the later rounds, it's not a coincidence that Moreno's best round was the 4th. In the 5th Deiveson had a low work rate but Brandon having hurt his left shoulder prevented him from having more volume of strikes
Hey Weasle, why didnt you do Paul Craig vs Jamahal Hill in stead of the Drew Dober fight ?
leon edwards wins by doctor stoppage from a cut above or below nate's right eye.
Love your content ! Keep it up !!
Nice breakdown my guy 👌
As far as 2021 is going I'll not surprised to see Nate's chin cracked 😂
Other way around now it’s no chin Leon.
"figgy punches just as hard for all 5 rounds"
*was visibly weaker and slower in round 4*
I guess I remember wrong cuz I remember figgy looking tired in the fight and Brandon looked like he was in dog fight mode idk
Vettori had a lot of trouble with Hollan during the small lapses in which the fight took place on the feet, his only chance on this fight is to make Andesanya hit the ground and be able to control him , and I dont think that will be possible. 70% -30% is really fair on this one.
Figgy was on shaky legs in that first fight to bro
I thought I was the only one who noticed with the way all these prediction videos are going. It was pretty obvious he wasn't 100% in the first fight and would've won pretty clearly had he not kicked homeboy in the balls.
Looking forward to this card. Great predictions again. Cheers.
Leon Edwards = W
Brandon Moreno = W
Marvin Vettori = W
Oh that would be great
I kind of want Izzy to win so we can *finally* have the Whittaker rematch. If Vettori wins that ruins it because Izzy will get an immediate rematch with him whilst Whittaker sits out even *longer* to wait for it to happen, and has to take *another* high-risk low reward fight to stay active.
If Nate beats Leon you need to get a 209 tattoo
Those little clip additions are dope
what do the a andl in thetop left and bottom left corner mean ?
Never been so pumped up for an event for a long time. Betting a lot of money on this card.
Stopped watching NF to watch this, your breakdowns are always A1.
Thanks man! What song?
If someone could help me out on this I'd be greatly appreciated thx
I think Nate makes it more competitive than anticipated. Think Leon wins but if Nate shows up the way he did against MJ, he gets the dub.
Ain't diego Lima a notable win for Belal?
Have you ever thought of doing a live watch party for ufc or boxing
Nate Diaz is the attraction not izzy
I think Figgie would only finish them in the first or second after that it’ll go to a decision but everything else you said makes awesome sense and I’m still split on the Izzy fight
10:56 "I'm gonna go with Leon Edwards and I'm gonna go for a 4th round TKO"
The match between Leon Edwards and Nate Diaz is a 3-roung bout, am I missing something? I suppose it's just a mistake from TheWeasle.
EDIT: TheWeale is right. This match will be the first time a bout that is neither a main event nor a title fight will be scheduled for five rounds in the UFC!
Its 5 rounds, not a mistake.
14:18 sorry Weasle, you're gonna have to eat your words because Moreno put on a masterclass against the now former champ!
