Great job building these systems. I have a question, I'm running Padawan 360 in my R2 as well, and I've noticed sometimes that when I power it up the dome doesn't respond. I'm guessing that maybe the dome motor driver board is taking longer to initialize. Sometimes it works great, other times it won't. Do you have any ideas on what might be causing this, or what the solution for it might be? Thanks.
Tricky to say, without knowing how your system is put together, but some basic things to check: Ensure you have a common ground between the syren 10 and the arduino. Make sure (in your sketch) that the domebaudrate is set to 9600 and you have the top two dip switches set accordingly. Does the power light come on, on the syren10 as soon as you power up your droid?
I have a question. I have this motor driver and it works pretty well. Its driving two drill motors in a track vehicle. My question is when I do a zero point turn, it will turn well when spinning counter clockwise but when I try to do it do it in the clockwise direction it struggles, can anyone help me with that?

I would test the motors first, put 12v directlt into one motor, then do it again reversing the polarity, see if it sounds any different.
