Yeah! It even got me thinking 'maybe the screens just get worse over time' but looking elsewhere, I can see this was a common thing, and actually I can remember the feeling almost like muscle-memory when playing it. I guess it's one of the games that might actually play better emulated!
pro tip: the contrast wheel is meant for brightness, but putting it on a darker setting helps with motion blur. makes mario land 1 much more playable lol
Ohh nice thank you! When I was a kid I had the epic light, speaker and magnifier all in one and don't remember it being too uncomfortable on the eye. On the hands, maybe 😂
I even had the magnifier glass back in the day!
just want to say your format and video quality are good and should hopefully bring success! keep at it! subscribed!
Thank you so much, that's really appreciated! I'll try to be more consistent in my formats haha :)
Great video! You're right about the motion blur on the big gameboys. Funny what we put up with because we didnt know any better

@@ScottMadeAThing one of the big improvements on the Gameboy pocket screen was that motion blur. Still probably terrible by modern standard 😄
I'm amazed you don't have 10 or 100x as many subs. You got a new one today (me)!
Ah thanks David, that really means a lot! Maybe one day :)
