IMO, LA Woman is their best and most rocking album: The Changeling, Love Her Madly, Been Down So Long, LA Woman, Crawling King Snake, The Wasp. This album just pulsates, and oozes start to finish.
'Five to One' for the next Doors song. The beat is really hard, you guys will love it. Thank you for keeping up with the Doors, they're one of the most impt American rock bands ever.
@@rasicomega Yes, I love when people know a beat or something from a rap song then hear the original. So fun. And they'll love the experience of the whole song, it's amazing.
Well indeed the 'Doors ' , so much phenomenal music! What can I possibly say to improve your appreciation of this Incredible band? Well definitely guys check out 'When the music's over ' from the ir Lp 'Absolutely Live ', it just encapsulated all of the unrest, revolution and dark psyedelia of the late 60s, great banter with the audience and I think also better hope for the future!! And it is absolutely Live, Jims best ever screams !!..... It's a quite special recording !!!... Really enjoy your reactions guys!!...
LA Woman is the finest album the Doors ever recorded. A masterpiece all the way through. The Doors kinda did the 60s/70s band thing backwards, starting with psychedelia and backtracking to the blues on later albums, unlike most of the prominent bands of the era like the Beatles/the Rolling Stones/Led Zeppelin who started with blues/R&B influences and moved away from those roots sounds with subsequent albums. The Changeling is one of my favorite songs--the gospel-esque breakdown at the end takes me back to sitting in church as a kid, bored until people started catching the spirit during praise and worship and dancing and convulsing around the sanctuary. This is an album to listen to in it's entirety but at least check out Cars Hiss by My Window, Been Down So Long and the title track, LA Woman. Also The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat) is another of my favorite Doors songs.
The beat you're talking about sounds exactly like 'Funkytown' from 1980! I thought I was crazy but I googled it and many people noticed it, too. Lipps Inc were definitely inspired by that organ riff for 'Won't you take me to, Funkytown?' So amazing, lol. The Doors doing early disco.
This is a great album. Their producer quit, so they finished recording it in their rehearsal space. I think Morrison did some vocals in the bathroom. Jerry Scheff, Elvis Presley's bass player, is on this album. Great album.
@@AirplayBeatsYeah, L.A. Woman is worthy of full album coverage. But don’t try that on all of their records. They put out great songs and serious trash side by side.
Right on brothers this is a funky groove ! The Doors are special and this is a hell of a song. Check out Touch Me the live video it’s fast paced and great horns! Love your reactions guys. I’m with you on every posting!
Periodic grateful shout out to ya’ll for pressing play on that shit from the jump, lol. I hate 4 minute intros! My favorite Doors. The organ just slays me every time.
Every time you two think of the same thing at the same time, I have to rewind the video, to see if the camera picked up any flashes of thought rays being sent to your brains from the Matrix.
Same here❗ St Petersburg downtown. Crazy. I couldn't watch RUclips on my smartphone because we lost power for 3 days and I needed to conserve my battery. But I'm back 🎵🎵🎵 watching these guys. Hope you made out OK. 🙏
Loved that entire LA Woman album...a shame that he died so young, i wonder what more he and the Doors could've done. I think Robbie or Ray said they'd have probably gotten more into bluesy stuff?
This song helped me thru the nightmare that was Jr High. Like Billy Joel’s Running on Ice, it’s a banger opener, yet never included in any compilation/greatest hits album.
This album was their peak, it's a shame Jim lost the run of himself. This doesn't sound like a young man in his twenties, remember he was 27 when he died.
This is one of my favorite Doors songs. Uptown, Downtown, All Around!
Peace Frog is a GREAT Doors song! If ya wanna🎉🎉🎉
@@-Sherri- Peace Frog is pure poetry and just an incredible song.
yep.... you shoulda do the Frog
Peace frog/Blue Sunday back to back same video
But I've never been so broke that I couldn't leave.... town.... This song has been my jam my whole life. I love it.
Love the Jim Morrison and the Doors!!! Do Soul Kitchen. It’s badass!! Keep it rocking brothers!!!
Yep… this is the funky side of the Doors
so much swagger in this tune
Thanks for the reaction. I haven’t listened to this song in years, this album was great.
The scream of the butterfly...
IMO, LA Woman is their best and most rocking album: The Changeling, Love Her Madly, Been Down So Long, LA Woman, Crawling King Snake, The Wasp. This album just pulsates, and oozes start to finish.
This is the first song on LA WOMAN, followed by LOVE HER MADLY.
Jerry Scheff on bass. Elvis’ bass player.
Marc Benno ? What tracks was he on?
'Five to One' for the next Doors song. The beat is really hard, you guys will love it. Thank you for keeping up with the Doors, they're one of the most impt American rock bands ever.
@@jenniferfoster1692 They def know the music from Jay-Z's "The Takeover" but it's still something they should listen to.

This is vintage Doors. Right here. 🔥
"FIVE TO ONE" GREAT BEAT❤❤❤❤❤
the WASP is a great song
Their last and arguably their best album.

Excellent reaction to an excellent song 😊❤👏🙏
I effing love the Doors!

Great Song by The Doors! There is no bad Doors song!
5 to 1 is a must listen. You guys only know one side of the doors. Lots of sounds.
Great tune!!!
funky as hell!
Love this tune. I second Peace Frog!
won’t you take me to…FUNKYTOWN
Great song
Yall need to listen to the full album, L.A. Woman is easily my fav doors record
I think we might go through it all
@@AirplayBeatsYeah, L.A. Woman is worthy of full album coverage. But don’t try that on all of their records. They put out great songs and serious trash side by side.
Please do ROADHOUSE BLUES studio version by the Doors next

Thanks for rocking with us!!
That's a good one. Beat and fills kinda, sorta, vaguely reminds me of an up-tempo version of Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar). ;>)
Thanks guys.
You got that right does got that shotgun bop. Pretty good song. Thanks guys.
Jerry Scheff from Elvis Presley’s road band on Fender bass.
Try FIVE TO ONE if you like uptempo in your face DOORS. You'll love it. WHEN THE MUSIC'S OVER and THE END are must react too.
YES YES YES WHAT HE SAID!!!!!!
🙏RIP JIM🙏
The Doors loved their blues.
So funky..
Periodic grateful shout out to ya’ll for pressing play on that shit from the jump, lol. I hate 4 minute intros! My favorite Doors. The organ just slays me every time.
My favorite Doors song
❤❤❤😊
I haven't listen to this track in a long time. Thanks for reacting. The song you may be thinking of is "Boogie Nights" by Heatwave.
Classic
This song reminds me of funky town
Texas Big Beat and Peace Frog are a couple more Doors songs that don't get enough attention. Five To One is also supercool.
Every time you two think of the same thing at the same time, I have to rewind the video, to see if the camera picked up any flashes of thought rays being sent to your brains from the Matrix.
I think the moment is when I look up right before my brother taps me
Picked up on the Jr. Walker vibe at the exact same time… spooky 🧟♂️
@@jimmoore8951 these spooky type of things have been happening to us for over 30 years. 😂😂😂
@@AirplayBeats 😹 keep hanging loose brothers 🤙🏾
Clearly there was some inspiration from Otis & Carla's "Tramp" on this. Great track
We got hit by Milton and lost power for a few days... good to be back with the Bros.

In addition to "Shotgun," I think this song also borrows from Booker T. & the MGs, specifically "Hip Hug Her."

Nice! ✌️😎💀☠️
It’s a fun song.(1st comment)

I know someone who has vintage photos of DOORS and a whole lot of other stuff!!!!!🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
Funky Jim…one if their best. Underrated in my opinion.
Yall have to do their best song imo "Peace Frog"
The song Funky Town borrowed this beat
La woman truly great lp
beautiful , listen to the alternative version Great channel !! thanks

Please react to "NOT To Touch The Earth"
Funkytown
Great song but i saw another commenter mention Peace Frog...that is must do. Actually, anything off of Morrison Hotel album is fire.
The Doors were not above”borrowing” licks. The Kinks sued them for lifting Hello, I Love You from All Day and All the Night. Kinks won the lawsuit.
soul kitchen you may like !

Sabbath Technical Estacty
I think the similar song you're thinking of is Funkytown
L'Merica
This was Jim describing himself, tired of being looked at as a rock star
THE CARS HISS BY MY WINDOW, 4th song on LA WOMAN.
Got a Doors request for you guys? Could you please play the song,"Been Down So Long," off the LA Woman album!!! Please!!!??? Bluesy and Hard guys!!!!
You should check out peace frog.
It’s fast but Jim makes it slow
Someone may have already noticed this,, but “Funky Town” was stolen from parts of this song
The Doors drab? Roadhouse Blues would put that comment to bed.
THE DOORS were first rock band to be called "PUNK" in the press💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
MY name is D Nice
Manasota keys is empty. GBY down there.
