The concert was so awesome..the band sounded so good and this song opened the concert..they did songs from all their past albums and the crowd was awesome we clapped and sang along with the band we gave Kiss the sendoff they deserve.we will never forget them.
Scooby-Doo and the gang in the space ship fighting off the monster Destroyer,,and Kiss performance of Detroit Rock City makes it soo cool, and poor shaggy has a weak stomach and covers his mouth with a Kiss barf bag...man Scooby-Doo and Kiss make the perfect combination in solving the mystery.
This is cool cause it's Kiss and I like all lineups man but Peter comes from a Waltz/Big Band style . It seems smoother with Peter and Ace. I think Peter had a very cool style and was not the most örthodox"drummer but he "fit like a glove ". If any of my fellow Kiss fan want an example listen to the Eric Singer version of "Parasite" and then Peters and listen how much more of a "groove" Peters had. It is so obvious Thanks my fellow Kiss Army Brothers!
@@valeriepavlistikova9132 3 years after you said this and I can't help but to agree. I'm a huge Pantera fan, and you can hear Vinnie's influence from Peter Criss and KISS doesn't have that groove any longer. It sucks honestly.
Thank you KissKicksAss1995 ... and Kizz.... my bros... this song has kept me solid and true since ive listen to it........ As a young teen lad in Adelaide Australia.....Going to the Concert in 1980 at the Cricket grounds there....... im now 52.. and fuck me dead if im not back there as a 13 year old wearing my denem jacket with/cut off sleve's ( covered in Kiss Badges)with Peter Chriss as my back patch listeing to band and haveing a blast of a time.... lols.... some bikers.. we meet ... liked my back patch and my friends kit and helped us move forward in the huge crowd of fans, to a few rows from the front of the stage.. later on my friend caught some of the broken guitar from paul stanley when he threw it into the crowd... but sadly others wanted it more then him so he let it go to the sea of people wanting it..... great memories.. best time ever ..thank you again..The Power of music
wow dude this is nice im supose to have the album and i gotta say this is a real good price for that kind of pack thanks for giving me a bit of what is gonna be that album
They wrote the song in memory of a fan who was killed when he struck a truck..and died on the spot.they wrote it to honour the memory of the young man who died.
The original on Destroyer had the young man having a meal and listening to the news on the radio and the newscaster was the Demon Gene Simmons himself.
@Smeghead65 That is true abot ACE but at least the guitarist did it in a style that sounded like ACE. Peter as well he didn't do some of the drumming in the studio but did it in concert. You can tell when Peter is on a record as well as ACE. BUt I like ERic Singer as a drummer. I thought Peter was great when he was younger. I just wish ACE could make his Gibson sound as hard when playing for KISS as he does when he is in his solo band.
@rakyaband Peter's drumming did sound much deaper and heavier than Erics. Ace was great on the solo. Thommy sounds like they turned down his amp on this one.
@01artist First let me say that I'm a KIS fan since '76 and love all versions of KISS. That being said I have always thought that both Erics' drumming was heavier then Peter's. More importantly Ace didn't play the solo on Destroyer . Ezrin had a studio musician do it 'cause Ace just couldn't quite get the feel of it. Don't get me wrong though I'm not insulting Ace 'cause I think a lot of guitarists that have no musical training with it up to and including myself
@kennypeeandpoo I think that Eric sounds off but I have seen KISS do this in concert last year and mad did it rock. Eric is used to a double bass and he is trying to get away from that. It is ok if you are in VAN HALEN. Also I guess KISS was trying to get everyone used to the new sound of KISS. Besides Peter didn't even play drums in the studio on this record. The drums were worked out first by I think Carmen Apaci( Is that the right spelling ?) Then Peter re-did them for concerts and stuff.
@shamroxboy You are right. You would think it would be more heavy and harder. I think Erics drums are off on here as well. I do not think you are supposed to use a double bass drum for this as it sounds to punchy.
Again u might hate me for my classic'ness but....NOTHING, I mean NOTHING like Ace's brilliant Solo on this One making that Les Paul weep and travel to space and Pete's high flying drums on this one.....Eric plays this song distinctively good but just search for those Videos with the Originals and you'll know what Im talking about.
Becci Biersack -you do realize that Tommy Thayer is the guy who had to reteach Ace Frehley his own solos because he didn’t know how to play them for the reunion tour
am i the only one who's thinking, this isn't shout it out loud
😂
Obviously it's Heaven On Fire you heretic.
Y’all are fucking idiots, this is clearly Lick It Up 😂😂🤣
It's not fucking luck it up its Detroit rock city
It's not even heavens on fire ideot

Eric singers drums make this song so good!
Awesome
Man to hear this song in the Scooby-Doo and Kiss Rock and Roll Mystery was awesome it blew me away!!.
Kiss/Scooby Doo..rock and mystery meet.

Criss was below average- refer to Kiss producers Wise Kerner and Ezrin interviews

From the Scooby Doo Kiss rock.and roll mystery..poor Shaggy has a weak stomach and he needs a barf bag.ouch.
O ye the scooby doo
The monster shooting off bombs as the gang fly in the spaceship.with this song playing in the backyard awesome.

Im going to see kiss in concert on the 10 of November cant wait.
All kiss members are great music man the complete planet know them
Exactly! :)
This song opens every concert kiss has done over the years.
I love kiss and this stuff is good but I'm loyal to all the originals and the original lineup without Ace I wouldn't have ever learned to play guitar
Opening song at the concert last night.
Sounds so close to the original.
Feels more grand, and the vocals fit better in my opinion
I wish Tommy would have played the solo the way he plays it live! And same with some of Eric’s other fills!
@A-Plus Computer Services I'm pretty sure they are complete re recordings. So everything is with the current lineup
The only song on kiss Klassic paul doesn’t sound entirely horrible on
i love the re records!kiss is back and better than ever!:D

Nice work
@kennypeeandpoo I mean the Destroyer Record when I say this record, Just sayin not the Re-Records
I liked the guitar solo
I like the way the bass sounds. Rock on kiss. I listen to them ever since I was 1 year old, no joke. It was the physco circus album,
..."THANKS" Best TO You ALL. 🎶🎵📀🇺🇸🐝
Catchy

They wrote this song in tribute to a young fan who was killed when his car hit a truck,on his way to a concert.
As you can tell, this song was very easy for Paul's, at the time, degraded vocal cords.
This is the track they use on the tour
Yup!!!.
Every tour the band will open with this song or later in the show.a classic song no doubt.
lol too bad they quit 5 shows in dumbass😂😂😂 no tracks in Nashville or birmingham
@@lmfs4032 they sometimes use backing tracks
but they are the BEST FUCKING BAND IN THE WORLD !!!

Curse you, Kiss!!!!!
With???.
Drum beats a little off
Yep. It is.
But right song (song wise)
Anybody know how/if you can get this on iTunes?
I prefer the rawness of the originals.

Why are they re recording a classic already recorded ??
Ridiculous!! WTF?? Why God , Why ??
Mix slightly flat
The original will always be the best
@MaruskaEstudios What are you listening to? Just askin cause it aint what the rest of us are listening to. Could you do any better?
What guitar is Ace using to add the high pitch during the solo???
Its Actually Paul playing the high pitch, and guitar doesn’t matter it matters how you play the solo mainly
Along with analog equipment, natural compression, etc. What were they thinking? This kind of erases the greatness of the original for me.
I most defiantly love this song but i think Tommy thayer needs more practice on the solos other that that this is a great album :) KISS ROCKKS
Becci Biersack -you do realize that Tommy Thayer is the guy who had to reteach Ace Frehley his own solos because he didn’t know how to play them for the reunion tour
@@thepuzzyslayers4404 Okay and..... Ace is still better.....
Eric overplaying the snare..Suck
it's called Ghost Notes, you dumb
still sounds like shit
The ghost notes are on the original recording too.
Good Lord...this is absolutely horrid.
A critic are you what are listening to?.
Well that totally sucked.
Darn critic are you?.
Boy shush it’s actually really good
