I actually liked the 7 band eq on my v2, I found it to be actually useful where most arent that much. It doesnt take much adjustment either. I think the highest I adjust any individual slider was like +/- 2-3
Can you help, when I connect this mixer with my android phone, I cannot hear sound return from monitoring phone. When I do the same setting only old Mickie pro 8, it works ok.
which Mic are you using , it sounds really clear and crisp, do you have an EQ or a small mixer attached to your Mic, just curious. i would like to adapt similar setup to my installs
If you need all 8 inputs for a live band can you plug in an accoustic or bass guitar into channel 8. h Using a 6.3mm to 3.5mm jackplug cable or adaptor. With the 3.5mm end going into channel 8.
Good video bud...question, how do you connect a wedged monitor and an in-ear monitor system at the same time with only one Aux jack? my drummer has to have a wedge and I prefer in-ears. Thanks
Assuming you both want the same mix I would run a cord to your wedge and if it's a powered wedge I'd run an XLR from the out of that speaker to the input of the in-ear system.
@@TheAngrySoundTech Thanks I will try that....I was also thinking about using a TRS splitter in the Aux input to split the signal. Would that work too?
@@TheAngrySoundTech Ok cool.....Thank you for the help. I greatly appreciate that, you have been way more helpful than the Mackie helpdesk people LOL. Have a great week
I've just received my mackie pro fx v3 and have to say this isn't a good audio mixer for live singing. The pre amps are very narrow and not crisp and clear compared to the pro fx v2 or my allan amd heath zed sixty fx. The compressor doesn't seem to do anything really. I think this is more of an audio interface for studio applications or live streaming. For live sound I.e karaoke or cabaret it's not good enough. I setup allan heath and pro fx v3 side by side and it's not even close.
I just purchased this mixer. Curious, I run a karaoke show 5 days a week. I play karaoke tracks via usb. I see no EQ for the main outs. Hmmmm how..suggestions? External eq?
@@TheAngrySoundTech appreciate the reply. Ran it tonight for karaoke. It’s great. I had the V2. Loved it. Left channel went out. I’m finding weird things on the V3. The gain knob on one of the channels I use to run filler music doesn’t work. Strange. Running karaoke tracks via usb channel and that gain doesn’t work either. Must be me.
@@TheAngrySoundTech curious if you’ve ran into any USB problems. I’m running Karafun via USB from 11/12 channel and sometimes get no sound. 3-4 button is on. No sound. Restart computer. Nothing. Thank god I bring a backup mixer. Next day I’ll plug it in and I get sound from line 11/12

That was actually my first thought. I'd say try it both ways and see if there is a difference in the sound.

How does this compare to the Soundcraft Signature12?

Great Mixer review! Are your feelings the same for the SRM V-Class speakers too?
I have not had a chance to try the SRM V Class yet. I wish I would have gotten that series instead of the DRMs to test out.
What’s better for doing live band sound the 10 or 12?

Yeah there is no master EQ on the main outs on V3 like there was on V2. You'd have to run it through an external EQ.

I think the gain on the USB channel is only for the analog input.

Would you recommend this over the Allen & Heath zed 10?
I've never used any of their analog boards. They make good stuff tho. I've got my eye on an Allen & Heath SQ5 to replace my X32.
@@TheAngrySoundTech sq5 is dope. No joke my a&h qu sb sounds soo much better then my x32 rack
had mine for a little over a year to run my dawless synth set tup they are the shit, i run it into my ssl, i wish i had the case
Have you had any noise or static issues with the fx return fader?
Holy shit get to the point or maybe tell us what you had for breakfast
