Well, it seems you can do no wrong. Another beautiful piece. I learn so much watching you, now I am learning how to apply what I have learned to my turning. Thank you so much for your videos, I very seldom miss one.
The planning and execution of that bowl were great to see, and the end product is really lovely! My guilty admission is that watching you turn away the plastic cup was one of my favorite parts 😂
Another lovely and well planned lidded bowl.❤ The end of the video was short though. I didn't get as good a chance to see the finished product before it got covered by preview shots of other videos. I hope you will return to your previous style of ending.
Morgan, I like that! The gluing template certainly added precision to your placement. Nice design and fantastic workmanship. What did you use as a pore filler? I need to get some for end grain on my projects.
ive been following your channel for a couple of years and, although youve always been really creative, its nice to see your attention to details improve as well as your wood-turning skills. i think the extra time spent on making that little jig really paid off in terms of precision; that geometric pattern looks so good! also i really like the black tinted epoxy, it adds a certain level of sophistication that the other colors didnt. cheers!
Oh my gosh! What a wonderful bowl! The frame you made for the assembly of the wood was so cool, it has given me an idea! Beautifully executed! Of course, we all know not to expect anything less than stunning from you! Take care!!😊❤
Respect ! Merci
Morgan, I have been subscribed for quite a while and enjoy every one of your videos. As a fellow woodturner (cough cough-ROOKIE) I am curious about the infiltration of the low viscosity resin into the sometimes rather large open ends of grain in white woods like ash. I usually use Hard Maple as my white wood of choice. I always coat the resin adjoining surfaces of white woods with some kind of sealant prior to casting. Shot in the dark question, would you be interested in doing a collaboration of sorts? I have never done one. Peace, Brother!
Hi Clayton Thank you for your comment😉👍👍 Yes indeed, to prevent the low viscosity resin from penetrating to the end of the grain of the ash wood, it is imperative to apply a layer of resin beforehand, especially if you put it under pressure. For questions about collaboration or anything else, you can send me an email
As much as I like this piece, I really don’t like the black colored resin. It looks like it’s leeching into the wood, making the edges of the wood look messy.
Karen The black resin actually seeps into the grain of the ash and gives this slightly blurred effect. If you want to avoid this effect, simply use a pore filler before pouring the resin.😉
Selamat sore ya om ,salam jumpa dan semoga sehat selalu ini perpaduan warnanya ,indah dan hasilnya maksimal , terimakasih atas ber baginya , 🙏🙏👍 20:23

I use any pore filler, I don't have a brand.
sometimes I also use low viscosity epoxy resin directly

Is there a difference between the wood and resin when shaping?
rachel
ouj there is a difference because the resin is very hard😉
