Getting rid of Coach Bowles is NOT the answer. Remember when the Bucs tried to do the same switch with Lovie Smith and his offensive coordinator??? That turned out to be the worse decision ever for the Bucs. After Lovie was let go, the OC that took his place stuck up the joint something💩serious. Point is some OC's do NOT make great head coaches. What the Bucs need to do is...sit Todd down and tell him, "we're going to let you go as our HC, but we'll still give you HC pay until Coen can proof he can do a good job coaching. So we would love to see you stay on board the pirate ship as our DC. I think🤔 the Bucs should just make a swap.
@ injuries are a part of the game, first week they only were missing Kancey and didn’t look good. If you need 7 or 8 pro bowlers to have an average unit you are not a good coach

Wade Phillips was an excellent DC but, in two times as an Head Coach, he barely was able to break 500 wins. Some are just not meant to take on the responsibilities of a Head Coach. It's nothing against them.
So, whatever the outcome for this upcoming game against Panthers, it will be a win-win for the Bucs then.... still, I am hoping Bucs will win the game.

I can honestly see a scenario where no matter this ending he stays and Liam stays and they make the adjustments for 2025.

They rank in the 20’s and 30’s defensive categories for points scored against and yards against from apposing teams. An argument could be made against Bowles just from the stats of the defense. Either way you look at it stats say changes will come.
I really think Baker is the reason for the OCs success. Baker was the #1 pick and he was booted from Cleveland bcuz he was playong hurt and didn't look like the guy. Canales had never called plays b4 but Baker made that offense work with good decision making most of the time. I think if Coen leaves we'll still have a decent offense bcuz of baker. We need a DC tho and Bowles just needs to focus on being a HC
Baker can get rid of the ball in 2.3 seconds BECAUSE of our OC. Our OC is also hiding our RT's mediocrity at pass blocking since the lesson learned in Detroit.

Bowles isn't a good HC. He's a solid DC. He isn't even pushing back against the GM who won't use other teams practice squads to our benefit. Just look at the opportunity we had at MLB to comb the league and find at least one future starter for our soon, two open spots. Mediocre HC. And a GM who only likes players he drafted...
Todd just needs to be demoted to defensive coordinator. He just isn't head coach material. Nothing against him, I like him. He gave us an identity. We're the 3-4 Blitzaneers and I'd want that to continue going forward. Not with Bowles as HC though.

Someone, maybe on this channel offered the notion that maybe the game has passed Todd Bowles and his defensive staff by. With the team we have and the division we play in, there’s absolutely no reason why we should be in this predicament. I live in ATL and know the Falcons well. They are a dysfunctional organization. Ain’t no way we lose twice to that team but Bowles let it happen.
Dave has Todd figured out.. soft zone and middle of the field wide open. Last week was the nail in the coffin, they are just being buried alive at this point. If they do manage a win, it's going to be toe to toe with Carolina and an uphill battle the whole way.

honestly if i were liam coen the only team i would want to go to would be the bears. if the bears take someone else i think it is highly possible that liam and bowles both stay... and bowles has had a good defense that has carried the team for 2022 and 23 lets not forget... if you give bowles the benefit of the doubt for next year and revamp the defense and liam stays godwin stays and we hit on another draft i think tampas superbowl window will be opened....

All you have to do is watch the defense in games against weaker teams...Todd Bowles isn't the answer even as a defensive schemer, much less HC.
His defense is failing this year, which isn't a good look for a defensive-minded head coach.
