      Facts, they crowned him the next best thing after one season and now they're saying that it's just an off season. We do not have a large enough sample size to confirm that. How can his rookie year not have been a fluke when we don't have years of consistent play to compare? He may be a one year wonder like josh freeman. Bro really put himself in the top 5 after ONE season, he deserves all the criticism. He was yucking it up when he was on top now the media silent on his play this year and giving all these excuses, they counted Bryce out but they giving CJ every excuse in the book after one season.

  • @acerx203
    @acerx203 18 дней назад +13

    People underestimate strength of schedule, going from the last place schedule to the 7th hardest schedule is tough for a 2nd year players, add that teams now have a full year of tape and make adjustments. Also that O-line needs help, a 2nd RB and another receiver, I am not confident Diggs will be helpful at this point, he seems to be more worried about himself than the team. Their lack of depth at receiver after losing Tank Dell again needs to be addressed.

    • @Thecyborgman
      @Thecyborgman 12 дней назад

      excuses after excuses for this man. Last year he put himself in the top 5 andeverybody was talking about how much they'd imrpove after picking up Diggs and Mixon, yet now we getting all these excuses huh? I love it, Slowik was the man last year now they want his head, what he's experiencing is a thing called the NFL. Not every team will have a perfect O line and a bunch of talented receivers, that's what makes the NFL the NFL. You do what you can do with what you have. Ain't no excuses for bro, he still collecting them game checks aint he? So he can be criticized like every other QB, Caleb still gets smacked around and has better numbers.

    This is why the experts need to slow down before anointing (or burying) a player while they are still on rookie contracts. Every media outlet had CJ as a top 5 QB entering the season and was ready to write off Bryce Young after one year. These guys are still young and some may show flashes earlier than others but like Shady says, we need a good 3-4 years before you can really judge a player accurately

(back-to-back) over THE best college teams I've ever seen in Alabama (almost half their players were starters in draft) then smashed rookie records in first 4 gms. in pros. As a Bears fan, I almost cried when they gave up ALL their future drafts, etc. to move up one spot o pick Mitch Too-risky.... yeah, Watson had some personal issues, yet Texans didn't stack him with better receivers, or team, etc. I'd still take Watson back then.

All there top wr are out or where out for multiple games at some point , the team needs some players , now Caleb he just isn’t nfl ready the things he tries to do don’t work in the nfl like college football so he has alot to work on but also it’s not all on him at times because the offense line isn’t good but he also puts himself in a lot of those situations because he trys doing to much he needs to just throw the damn ball

Our O line is freaking garbage, they can’t block on run plays or pass plays CJ spends half the game running for his life. Caleb has never played on time/structure. Not in HS, Collage and now the NFL. Caleb has always and continues to rely on what he has always been successful at in HS and Collage, his ability to run around and find an open receiver. The problem is he cannot get away with that in the NFL because defenses lineman are as fast if not faster than he is, that is why he has 67 sacks for over 450 yards lost. He holds the ball too long not on the o-line. He is not tall so he must be excellent at playing on time and within structure to be successful. Under a new Coaching staff focused on developing Caleb he could reach his potential. It is shame his rookie season was lost!

    Lamar has been with the Ravens for 7years, Allen has been with Buffalo for 6years. Y'all are putting to much pressure on these rookie quarterback and young teams. Give them a couple more years together with the same core players and then we'll talk. Continuity takes time. Just because some teams made it to the superbowl with a brand new quarterback doesn't mean everyone will. Too much pressure too soon can destroy a team. You gotta let them play together for a few years before you can expect a superbowl run. Everybody wants a superbowl now, now, now. How about just enjoying the game for what it is and let these human beings have a little fun. Enjoying the journey is more important than the destination. ❤
