I was so proud of my little village that I made on my own in survival mode, and then this monster of a build just drops my jaw. Kudos to everyone involved with this amazing build.
It's much harder doing it on your own though! 🙂
A three hour tour.
I'm glad I was able to find the spot for the river town, and huge props to @Sad for having the vision of it! And everyone else making their marks. I'm super proud of all you guys!
its just awesome, cheers, lad
Dude, thank YOU. I always start out trying to play organically, but ultimately resort to at least basic mods and cheats. Still...great architecture is great architecture. Perfect placement is a struggle in Creative Modes. The fact that you ground out the resources organically adds a layer of honour to your work that makes it twice as beautiful. I get a headache just looking at parts of it. And the thing is? There doesn't seem to be any contribution builds that stand out in stark contrast, or are noticeably shoddy. They're all unique, but balanced, and the whole thing just flows along in a very living way. It's seamless. Bravo. ♥
@@Sarmatae1 Thank you very much! Although I would not want to take the credit, Sad is the one coordinating it all, he is a legend :)
But thank you so much for all your kind words!
@@Bvitamine_ No problem mate. I think a lot of people don't understand what actually goes into these builds, lol. I wanted to let you know that I do, and I am impressed. I don't think I've EVER built anything this grand without the use of at least a mod or two or a cheat spawn here and there. Building on a cliff is a lot of aggravating legwork. Tell me you guys at least used flying for some of that. ♥
@@Sarmatae1 haha thanks!
No we didn't, we only used the clutter mod and a little bit of planteverything and that's it, and even those only because we wanted to have even more little details here and there.
Yes, the idea was to make it look very authentic, which includes close-to-zero terraforming. It was a great challenge and it took us a few months but we're happy with the results! Nice to see others are too! There are also hidden areas, such as secret basements in the Ruins, a fishing shack with a fishing buddy, or a massage chair in one of the grottos... lol. Or you can just read through the lore too if your legs feel tired which you can find in journal pages at a lost library. It was also written by us... just to mention a few things! 😊
Sheeesh that's one hell of a village.
Sheesh indeed sheesh
Bro that not a village that a city
I wish devs could just generate villages like this and have stuff in them, have varities of villages that could be evil or good, and questlines to follow, go north and have huge fortresses, villages, etc in snowy biomes. Make the world more alive. The game has so much potential.
That sounds like the Witcher 3
Probably one of the drawbacks of having an entirely procedurally generated world. It would be cool if they could put in one major structure like this per biome area.
Looking forward to see it closer up later on! Looks amazing!
As someone who has also done a mega build, this is quite impressive. I know how much work and re-work it takes with these. Two thumbs up guys!
Thank you Kysen for the tour! I'm so honored to be working beside such talent! This server is so much fun!
Glad you're enjoying the server 🙂
Holy crap! That's insane! We got some good builders on our server as well...can't wait to show them off!
the buildings are amazing on their own and can't wait to see the tour. But, the farming of resources... sooo much farming. Props to you all!
And everything done in survival mode?
This is spectacular!
Farming tons of wood, let alone tar and iron, must have taken dozens of hours alone.
And the buildings are really amazing - looking forward to the detailed tour!!!
We started this project in early July and the amount of woodchopping and mining is ridiculous. We almost emptied the resources on an already well played server, so Kysen gave permission to reset the crypts, burial chambers, swamps and caves as well as repopulating the fuling villages. Admins Ninabobina and The Architect did super great!
We learned A LOT about what creates lag, and the middle of the Riverbuild has a staggering 50 000+ instances. It's insane! I have never crashed so often! 😂
Everything is better with friends 🖤
So true, @TinyNorwegian and @Ssaadd Ssaadd - and a shout-out to The Architect, who not only did Admin duty on the Riverbuild, but also built his own separate town, which will probably get its own video!
Wow, AMAZING! Can't wait for the tour!
Unfassbar gut 👍danke fürs hochladen immer wieder Inspiration für mich
That is incredible. They do all that and I'm here trying to find a delve in the swamp, lol.
- right there with you 🙂
That is absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see more.
That is INSANE! incredible work done here! Can't wait to see the full tour!
Thank you 🖤
Makes me want to play valheim again
wow! Amazing! Congrats! wow
and here i am, with my little block house with a wall around it
i could never in a million years come up with this, amazing to say the least
seriously awesome, the people behind valheim must be so proud they made this game
I love love LOVE seeing such inspirational builds and hard work! I came here looking for inspiration for a little fort im building in a patch of old mistlands that my map still has, and I was certainly inspired 😁😁
That's ridiculously impressive!!
This build is unbelievable. So inspiring!
this is wild. love it
great job!
This is amazing 👏 I would have never thought of some of these wonderful ideas WOW. I play solo so I will definitely be using some of these ideas and of course inspiration. Thanks for sharing 👍
Come on Mistlands!
Thank you🖤
@Charles N. - Right?
This is just... breath taking!
Special thanks to everyone involved
As well as Kysen for bing a lovely host
You mad lad 💯🔥
@@SUTAS-NG Because I was bored
The amount of stone and wood alone is staggering considering it’s vanilla resources. 👍
"here's a building, it really is a building"
"guys this is a building and it really is one"
"and here is a building, it's definitely a building"
"this building is quite a building"
i was in awe with just the first dock area, this is amazing.
I'm from Paraguay and play solo, got myself a little Village in survival aswell but that's not even 5% of all of this! The true viking escence is taking an expedition with friends to gather resources in different areas, then building! Really nice city you got there guys :)
dudes build a little town out there, amazing job. Can't wait to see whole map covered like this eventually =)
Amazing. Just Amazing.
thanks a lot for the video!
i love it, i made a big build myself just me and 1 friend, and we farmed everything, took ages, and doesn't look as good as that, mostly because it was a long flat surface, but im still proud of it, finished it like a year ago or smth
Amazing build! Really beautiful!
And here I am trying to get one roof to look right !
That really is impressive!
Downloading and exploring this world that has all of this amazing stuff in it already without knowing where anything is would make exploration so exciting. Coming to a new land on your viking longboat and discovering a deserted city like this would be amazing. I would also love to come across epic ruins.
I’ve been on server for about 3 months now and still haven’t seen everything. I just keep adding stuff to find while they explore 😹😹
Spoiler alert, there are ruins in the village along with a few other surprises
Oh wow that is so sick!
Just to clear things up, three MODS were used. Clutter, Plant Anything and Item Stands All Items. All of which require resources to use. Everything was farmed by multiple people across several hours.
Hey!! That’s my dad!
What about those glowing signs?
@@hellyeah2k183 i think they're vanilla
That's insane. The power of people working together is the pathway to limitless potential.
Might not be possible, but would be so god damn cool too see a timelapse of this build!
That is really amazing.
That is epic!
They have to be setting the weather to always be sunny imagine all the repairing when it rained lmfaoo
Wow, amazing!
Beyond Awesome!
Thank you 🖤
Yeah. This is phenomenal. Absolutely time-consumptive, meticulous-attention-to-detail phenomenal. You zoomed past it, and I had to back up and pause...but the medieval-esque tower portal room is gorgeous, to whoever constructed that. I consider myself a sandbox veteran and have won awards for builds. That's all I'm ever there for though, and Valheim has been no exception. I'm duly impressed by the "Community Build". I've not seen this anywhere else. Wish I could have gotten in on that. I mod, but to crunch the numbers; Conan Exiles = 41 mods. ARK = 14 mods. Valheim = 8 mods, and in my defense, those are all to do with carry weight, inventory limit, and unrestricted portals. I build in ghost, fight/hunt in normal, and do all the organic footwork. I play strictly single-player because I am NOT interested in PvP combat, raiding or being raided, or becoming a farm serf to a huge clan/guild/co-op that isn't going to let me build what I want anyway. I'm fairly new to Valheim, but with Valheim+, would it be possible to construct a custom public seed with a generator, and set the parameters to disable anything BUT building/exploring/interacting/trading? I feel like I'm not explaining this right, lol.
***I only have 178 hours. Less than 24 of that has been modded. When I say I'm new to Valheim, I mean I'm newb. I'd love to host a server where people can come to build, explore, interact, trade. Maybe PvP at a generational point. Valheim+ is a treasure trove of customisation. I'd love some advice before I waste hours of mind-numbing frustration trying to do something that can't be done. Anyone?
We missed you too!
Also, there is no “peaceful” mode
@@ssaaddssaadd4682 Friends don't let friends drink and post on UToob.
@@Sarmatae1 Apologies. I thought I read in your comment that you wished you got in on helping
@@ssaaddssaadd4682 I thought you were mistaking me for another comment. I didn't understand what you were saying, lol. Oh my God, I'm so sorry! ♥ And wait...in Valheim+ I believe there's an option to disable server-wide PvP. Is that not correct? I know it can't be done in the base game, but if you start a server and everyone joining that server has Valheim+, then that should work. Anyone who knows otherwise is free to tell me it's a stupid idea.
Respect to the builder. This isnt just a build - its art
Wooooow. Incredible!!!!
This is epic.. my friend made a tree house which is the most beautiful and insane build Ive ever seen, using no cheats. Hes just computer illiterate so he doesnt know how to screen record or put it up on youtube but i beg him from time to time to upload it. Its by far the most beautiful base I have ever seen in ANY game. I want to live there lol
,
How did they get enough tar for all this?! I'm pretty good at designing, but doing a group project where everything feels so cohesive and authentic takes it to a whole new level. The planning must've been really extensive to make sure it didn't get too out of hand, either that or they rebuilt over and over. Very very impressive
What up yall so I just started playing bc I'm on xbox and I be proud of the house I be building bc it's what I do in IRL but this is something to be proud of yall did a hell of a good job man
I would love to see if the new ships fit
Where can I find the portals to get to this part of the map in the world?
props!
I really want to make a cool mountain Santa castle.
beautiful
I wish there was a before and after shot. I can only imagine that everywhere was nothing but trees, shrubs, stones, and whatnot at one time.
Are those game generated structures? Can you build with those hide roofs?
OMG jaw dropped watching this 😮
"No cheating, survival mode only." Proceeds to fly, even showing one other player flying. 6/5
I fly for better footage, I didn't do any of the building. Staff members have admin accounts that can fly to help with staff duties. The building was done legit by the players on my server
@@Kysen yeah i suppose that other flyer was some another admin. sorry for the salt!
Wow. Just WOW!
"Can you imagine how many resources went into this build?" as a player is hovering in debugmode
god this game is so charming
Nice!
I would LOVE to see someone build Hogwards lol :)
WOW........
how long does this project ? and how many ppl working on it ?
For all of you guys who built that town/city . AMAZING WORK!! .as a full time solo / survival mode player I know how tedious and tiresome making giant builds can be . Again AWESOME WORK to everyone involved
These look great. What happens when trolls show up, like during one of those events? They tend to mess things up.
very cool.
How much stone and wood were used?
WOW the amount of time they have put into that is amazing
can someone help me how to use this map? i've already download the file but didnt know what to do next
In order to make the tunnels you literally have to spawn in rocks to do it. I think this is awesome cool build and it definitely took a ton of work, but I doubt it was done in survival only without mods.
Unreal!!
but how do we actually get to the river town? i searched everywhere but i can't find a portal, you didn't even go into a portal so we're just running around the world spawn but can't find this at all haha did i download the wrong link?
does valheim still lagg when you try to build a few houses?
amazing
Irongate needn’t look any further for future design team members
The bouldings should be intigrate in the Environment. That were fantasic !
excellent build! Looks like an RPG world. How long did it take to make?
I my was ruffly 2 months.
I think I'm gonna cry now 🥲😍 This is just so far beyond amazing... No words. Chapeau!!!
I am by far more impressed with builders that harvest their resources and don't use fly mode. Every time I see another pop up in my playlist about some build that a RUclipsr did, I'm like "Ok, great, now try that in survival!" Example, a boat dock with 20+ hanging braziers... Go grind that bronze and chains buddy.
This was all in survival, no flight. The only advantage was having others to help farm resources. We spent mornings doing trees and rocks and days doing iron, serpents, wraiths etc.
@@ssaaddssaadd4682 You all did a great job.
@@game_critic appreciate you sir
The bronze grind is crazy... item transport needs some revision in vanilla Valheim! I don't think the cart is all that useful. I've never played on a multiplayer server, I don't have the money to subscribe/join a paid one and don't know anyone that really wants to play Valheim along with me.
@@TianarTruegard I made the cart useful. I scouted the nearby Black Forest and marked out all the copper deposits I could find. I lived on a hill back in the meadows, so I made a nice, extended, gradual sloping road connecting all points using the hoe and clearing all brush using the axe. A few hours later, I was hauling in cartloads of copper and all that wood and core wood, back to base with the help of Eikthyr.
Should have seen paladin city on Jotunheim server, it was more of an Roman empire style oceanside city with life size Colosseum and 20 real residents who lived there, sold and traded goods out of the town regularly, a true Utopia :)
Looks like that river town from God of War Ragnarök.
I doubt this was done in survival because I saw someone flying
Valheim is still Alive ❤
Ngl when I try to do builds on other games like mine craft I always take pride in doing it 100% on survival
Drinking game: drink every time you hear the word "here"
What happens when the trolls raid? 😮
Wait, this person has dug out the tunnels? Like is this whole area self-farmed and self-crafted?
here here here here here here here
me and my 1 longhouse feel very inferior
OMG. wow. wow. Wait till they start adding Black Marble elements
4:22 I see 2 maypoles. hmmm..... no mods in survival mode???
How would one go about ADDING this build to their OWN server? (sorry,.. new to the game)
so, you're telling me that the valheim world is big enough that you can acquire all of the resources to build this MASSIVE MASSIVE build??
Hey, i love the game but tend to have a hard time finding friends and I'd love doing this stuff
