Dude, thank YOU. I always start out trying to play organically, but ultimately resort to at least basic mods and cheats. Still...great architecture is great architecture. Perfect placement is a struggle in Creative Modes. The fact that you ground out the resources organically adds a layer of honour to your work that makes it twice as beautiful. I get a headache just looking at parts of it. And the thing is? There doesn't seem to be any contribution builds that stand out in stark contrast, or are noticeably shoddy. They're all unique, but balanced, and the whole thing just flows along in a very living way. It's seamless. Bravo. ♥

@@Bvitamine_ No problem mate. I think a lot of people don't understand what actually goes into these builds, lol. I wanted to let you know that I do, and I am impressed. I don't think I've EVER built anything this grand without the use of at least a mod or two or a cheat spawn here and there. Building on a cliff is a lot of aggravating legwork. Tell me you guys at least used flying for some of that. ♥

No we didn't, we only used the clutter mod and a little bit of planteverything and that's it, and even those only because we wanted to have even more little details here and there.
Yes, the idea was to make it look very authentic, which includes close-to-zero terraforming. It was a great challenge and it took us a few months but we're happy with the results! Nice to see others are too! There are also hidden areas, such as secret basements in the Ruins, a fishing shack with a fishing buddy, or a massage chair in one of the grottos... lol. Or you can just read through the lore too if your legs feel tired which you can find in journal pages at a lost library. It was also written by us... just to mention a few things! 😊

I wish devs could just generate villages like this and have stuff in them, have varities of villages that could be evil or good, and questlines to follow, go north and have huge fortresses, villages, etc in snowy biomes. Make the world more alive. The game has so much potential.

We started this project in early July and the amount of woodchopping and mining is ridiculous. We almost emptied the resources on an already well played server, so Kysen gave permission to reset the crypts, burial chambers, swamps and caves as well as repopulating the fuling villages. Admins Ninabobina and The Architect did super great!
We learned A LOT about what creates lag, and the middle of the Riverbuild has a staggering 50 000+ instances. It's insane! I have never crashed so often! 😂

Yeah. This is phenomenal. Absolutely time-consumptive, meticulous-attention-to-detail phenomenal. You zoomed past it, and I had to back up and pause...but the medieval-esque tower portal room is gorgeous, to whoever constructed that. I consider myself a sandbox veteran and have won awards for builds. That's all I'm ever there for though, and Valheim has been no exception. I'm duly impressed by the "Community Build". I've not seen this anywhere else. Wish I could have gotten in on that. I mod, but to crunch the numbers; Conan Exiles = 41 mods. ARK = 14 mods. Valheim = 8 mods, and in my defense, those are all to do with carry weight, inventory limit, and unrestricted portals. I build in ghost, fight/hunt in normal, and do all the organic footwork. I play strictly single-player because I am NOT interested in PvP combat, raiding or being raided, or becoming a farm serf to a huge clan/guild/co-op that isn't going to let me build what I want anyway. I'm fairly new to Valheim, but with Valheim+, would it be possible to construct a custom public seed with a generator, and set the parameters to disable anything BUT building/exploring/interacting/trading? I feel like I'm not explaining this right, lol.
***I only have 178 hours. Less than 24 of that has been modded. When I say I'm new to Valheim, I mean I'm newb. I'd love to host a server where people can come to build, explore, interact, trade. Maybe PvP at a generational point. Valheim+ is a treasure trove of customisation. I'd love some advice before I waste hours of mind-numbing frustration trying to do something that can't be done. Anyone?

I know it can't be done in the base game, but if you start a server and everyone joining that server has Valheim+, then that should work. Anyone who knows otherwise is free to tell me it's a stupid idea.
