Kurt Geiger has a version of the water bottle. I have it! For the price that I paid Geiger, I am glad to have it and it is perfect for carrying around a small fold up umbrella. (You can also get something similar from Oroton, perfect for a water bottle or an umbrella.) But not at Chanel prices! Thank you for the video!
The bag that I sold was the Stella McCartney bag as the chain is so heavy , I don’t regret selling it. The one I am planning to sell is the LV speedy 25 in epi leather which everyone said it’s a must have item but actually I bought it from a vintage store in Japan and I hardly use it😬😬

Such a nice new intro, totally you: as soothing as your character! I got the Gabrielle in beige on black right from the release party in April 2017. And since then, I might’ve worn it less than 10 times. Unlike what you said in the video, the large size did work for me in terms of proportions. But I just happened not to reach for it coz I tend to increasingly dislike wearing bags with chain straps. I still like to look at it though: it’s a fun bag and I don’t see myself selling it. I was also attracted by the backpack shown in the video at the time but I saw right away the structure was ill-conceived. Well, I’ve already told you what I think of the Hermès groom bag and of the Celine tote, so I guess you can imagine what I think of the Deauville. The last bag in Shearling is very fun. I got a pair of boots in the same fabrics 3 years ago and I happen to wear them only twice a year. This style is not that versatile and not very easy to combine without looking a bit tacky. The étrivière you talked to me about last week is strangely quite low key though. I am very careful when I buy bags and I have never ever parted with any of my bags. I am or shall I say, used to be more into seasonal styles, large masculine briefcase/tote hybrids and clutches/ document holders as the timeless classic flap’s proportions are not compatible with my body frame. Just got back from 31 rue Cambon, and I’ve seen a very nice black jacket/ pea coat. I ordered a smaller size to compare with the 48 I tried today. I really like the cut and especially the collar but I am a little bit underwhelmed by the cheap looking buttons. You may also want to try it: it is very Chanel, yet the design is not over the top and it can totally be worn anywhere everyday. Can I send you the pic through Instagram dm?

@@IamGPS I just twist the Gabrielle’s chains around my left wrist (it feels like wearing a gigantic cuff) and I hold it behind my left shoulder. The right hand is in my pocket in order to achieve a nonchalant look. Do you get the image? I tend to wear it only during hot summer days, when I only wear a light teeshirt and don’t ask me why. I don’t even know myself. Maybe because of the beige on black color. I had tried to wear it crossbody with one chain on each shoulder once and it was a disaster when I tried to take it off. The 2 chains got tangled up with my Chanel necklace and everything got broken (the necklace and the chains). It was so embarrassing since I had to pick up all the pearls on the floor. Luckily I was at the Laduree restaurant just in front of the Chanel rue royale boutique. Showed the whole mess to the staff and they managed to repair everything.
I’ve had the exact experience at Fashionphile, took a bag in wasn’t even sure I wanted to sell it, got completely lowballed and sold it anyway 🤦🏻♀️!! I’m down a major rabbit hole with your videos by the way! Would you say you enjoy the herbag more than the deauville or do you think they serve two completely different functions?
I guess neither one of us likes unfinished business 😅 That's a great question..I never thought about comparing them 🤔 I find the styles completely different yet they serve similar functions. If I could only keep one, however, I'd stick with the Herbag 🧡
Hi, I share your opinion about the Gabrielle. Don't like the metal mix as well. Never seen the all black version and if I would, I'd go for it. So edgy and masculine. I love classic flap, but as a tall guy, I'm so struggling wit the chain, falling from my shoulders, flapping around and annoying me. This woulb be a game changer for me 😜
