Soon as it said he was a Shaman I was waiting for the cleansing to begin. I almost teared up when he said that Elizabeth stopped and waved at him before going into the fire. GREAT story!
I like it when a story ends with a little bit of hope, for all parties. Shaman is the mvp.
Shoutout to the crusty old shaman for exorcising the house and solving the problem
Also super proud of Greg Protagonist for quitting his nervous smoking by the end of the whole ordeal. Just a happy ending all around!

@@XerxesTexasToast
Reminds me of Monster House too.
Aww man, the LEAST he could have done was bail the poor man out! 😂😂
I'm thinking the same thing.
I... When he said the figure waved, I literally got like goosebump shudders from emotion, that, I, wow- Those are rare, thank you for the wonderful and emotional storytelling, Mr. Creepypasta, and your wonderful timing as well. The pauses add the perfect touch to this story to make it really hit you like a truck, in a good way.
When the shaman is the hero of the story !
That shaman was a hero. Dude should go to the prison or court and see if he can get the shaman out as thanks for his service.
This story narration didn't disappoint, almost immediately I was thrown into some crazy shit. The neighbor continued to get more and more concerning to me, and so did the spiral of changes around the main character and the main character's wife. Honestly, the ending was not what I expected. Instead, it became a trip of strange nostalgia and a sense of understanding on how to let go of things that do you harm... More so it also showed several variations of the extents people will go to remove themselves from things that had brought them harm. An interesting little bit, and the ending where the ghosts are put to rest was one that was both amusing and relieving. I hope that house never glows again, too. xD
I’ve been listening to you for years and your narrations only get better!
They really, really do.

Yeah CreepsMcPasta is the King of Creepypastas.
Loved that story. You get better snd better. Love from NZ
Great story and great narration! Thank you!
Thankyou ...I liked the vibe of the story. Appreciate you
Wow I expected a good story but this one really just hit the spot for me, perfect narrations as usual too
That was a beautiful story
This man is such a legend
I love this story no matter who narrates it. It’s like watching the same movie with different directors. Great stuff!
Happy, conclusive endings in creepypastas are so rare. (Especially those that end well) I throughly enjoyed this one.
I miss the good ol feelspastas, subway $Uicide is a good one narrated by MCP
I am SO GLAD I'm not the only person who has been noticing the same issue with these stories lately.
It's getting rare to hear a really good story or one that starts good and ends with a bang, most just are ending with disappointment.
But I get it its hard to continuously put out one good story after another but some of these stories could have ended better with just a little but of critiquing, anyway this one had a good start and ending.
@@gmanbelieves6513 do you have any suggestions like that?

We need Happy Endings for our favorite Creepypasta Characters too.
Awesome story!! ❤️ Thank you 🙏 I hope you are having a FANTASTIC Friday night my friend 😊
I love your narrations. Fantastic as always.
Brilliant story!
I'm a young shaman, and I usually have to keep it to myself, because society sees it as superstition. The thing is, if there was nothing to it, there would be no point putting in all the work and self-discipline that it takes to practice. Anyone who knows me knows I'm no fool. Anyways, this story resonated with me, because it reminds me that even though society ridicules my way of life, I have a responsibility and a duty. Shamanism is very misunderstood, but unlike religion, we don't try to convince everyone that we're right. We just keep our practice to ourselves unless someone genuinely wants to learn or asks for help. When you learn shamanism, you realize it's an ancient form of psychology, medicine, and spirituality. It's older than religion and science, yet it's the father of both.
Bruh, all the fault is of these Abrahamic Monotheistic religions to have created such a dogmatic society worldwide through their Post Colonial World Order that any philosophies, practices, traditions, ethno-religious cultures and absolutely anything that is not Christo-normative and secondarily West centric (except Islam, cause that's just a Monotheistic step brother to Christianity) is bad, deplorable, superstitious, mythological and what not. Am a born Sanatani Hindu from Bharat (i.e., India) and trust me brother, all the Polytheistic philosophical religions peacefully coexisted together before these intolerant & dimwit political cults each masquerading in the name of the only true religion, as in the only "true" way to the "only one God" came along and destroyed every major prosperous civilization from Old Norse, Greece & Rome in Europe to Bharat, China & South East Asia. All this just piss me off so F'in bad!!
You're not wtong about that. Some of them are starting to see that their texts can;t be taken literally. Mainstream religion has become so disconnected from the core principles of universal truth that if you don't already have some understanding of mysticism, you;re unlikely to gain spiritual insight simply by exploring what the mainstream offers in the religious sense.
@@shadowstar7388 Show me the way. I want to learn more.
I dont believe in shamanism but i respect and love that what you guys are doing, giving yourself responsibility and duty to do just a normal thing is hard, doing something that people ridicule and looks down is much much harder.
And those that looks down on you are just dumb, we dont have evidence that spirits exist nor do we have evidence of their nonexistence, its ultimately harmless to outsiders so them ridiculing you for not being the same as them is just idiotic.
Shaman are just what ppl were called when they're friend with Jinn.
Glad to listen to your scary stories all through out October the season if grim grinning ghost 👻🕯🔮🕯👻
Thank you.
Elizabeth would love my house. It's a B&B that was converted before my parents bought it and made it their business, but when it was first made, it was a funeral home. No ghosts here though, they were all properly and respectfully put to rest and are sleeping peacefully.
Great story! Thank you 👍!
“It was a shame to waste half a joint”. You can put out a damn joint and pick it back up whenever you want. He just wanted to hang out with the other girl 😂
Yeah I honestly don’t know how I’d react to someone asking me if she and her shaman boyfriend camp out in my backyard
🧡🖤Loved it! You did it yet AGAIN!🖤🧡
Great story 👏
Great story!! :)
That was a pretty bittersweet story.
Very good story, I honestly wish it would've been longer!
Love your narrations!
Damn that was great!!!
You and every one of your videos/stories are amazing... thank you for sharing ❤
Loved this story!! I was enthralled!❤
Is the perfect example of why just because you don't agree with something or like the way something looks doesn't mean you have to put a stop
As much as I love the lingering horror most creepy pastas leave behind. There’s something special when the ending is actually nice.
ooo~ I loved this!
Love that the events of the story progress almost entirely without the narrator actually enaging in them. A woman descended into madness off screen and then a magic guy spontanously showed up and fixed the ghost problem, absolutely 0 input on the part of the main character. My favorite bit was when he was conciously aware that the magic man was being unfairly charged after freeing trapped ghosts and did fuck all to help him. The one part of the story was was uneqivocally equpped to both deal with (he was a witness) and motivated to do so (the magic guy freed Elizabeth's ghost) and the author just passes off this potential turning point in ihs character arc as a funny aftermath ot the climax of the story.
That being said, I will acknowledge that the author cleverly interwove grief, the smoking addiciton, and the dread aura of the house into a single narrative thread with the main character taking smoke breaks to watch the house. Genuinely good piece of writing. Now if only we got something more in depth then "My lungs hurt" and "A vaguely defined neo-pagan fixed my ghost problem." to do with said thread this story might've actually constitued a story.
“What a cruel mistress the gravity is” took me a moment to understand 😂
Tbh the kids deserved better parents than Greg and Linda
We only get part of the story, and they seem to LOVE each other, N their children which is a lot better then many people have! J. M. O.
Good guy Shaman banishing the evil spirits
The protagonist and his wife are a really weird, whiny bunch! Great story though.
This story was absolutely wonderful. The ending had me. Gotta love some good resolutions.
Nice
You can tell the writer does not smoke. “There was a scratching at the back of my chest” 😂😂
Damn I loved this story!
Awesome story I loved it great job narrating it
You rock
Fantastic story. Loved it all the way through. Great work to both you and the author.
Ppl as about as interesting as drying paint 🤣🤣🤣
Elizabeth sounds like Julian Solomita.
Luv'd this! Hpi Spooktober, All! 👻♥️🇵🇭
Hey next plushy can we get Mrs Creepy Pasta so we can have the creepy pasta family in the collection? They can haunt I mean keep the creepy pasta safe. lol
Amazing story telling as usual! Thanks for your hard work and wonderful tales.
Edit: oops! I read it wrong
Anyway, good stuff!
Spoilers - the house wasn’t glowing. The protagonist was having seizures
I have a house that doesn’t scream, yell or glow. It does however have its share of spirits (or ghost, or entities) . As far as I know they are fairly benevolent. They like a good prank or practical joke. At least one is a female, I say one because EVPs always sounds like a female. There is one with questionable desire to keep themselves bathed, probably because that is he they passed away. So aside from these facts, without going into details about their practical jokes this pretty much sums up my guests. If I wanted to go into it I could probably write a book on it ( believe me that thought that idea through several times) but I can never seem to be the energy.
I don’t know why I wrote this comment aside from the fact that the story brought us some things that reminded me about my house.
That's crazy..
Yeah, I have a house near us that has 12 or 13 ghosts (I think the number is right). One is a young 50s greaser with a baseball bat. One was a prom queen/princess. One was a HUGE juggernaut of a guy. There is some dude that worked on railroads..had rr spikes impaled in his skin everywhere. Umm, also a lady with some kind of metal cage on her head. Looks kind of uncomfortable. And some others that I cant think of off the top of my head.
Also, there's a small, curly haired guy named Mr. Monk that likes to visit the house every once in a while...not sure why. It's like he is trying to solve some kind of mystery or something..or maybe Im just confused a little...
I would LOVE to hear your story
@@joehartman5543 thank you but it would take weeks or months or more to write out the entire story.
Who knew a house could be CIA?
Danke!
Hey MCP, I've been listening to your narrations for many years and love every video but I've noticed you stopped using some of the more original music pieces from Myuu and use more soundscapes now. Is there any reason for that? I kinda miss the old music, it felt like it had more personality. 😟
Cool story!
Story is very familiar.
So...what happened to the shaman's "girlfriend"? Really should have been there to cover the old guy up after his ritual.
Nightwolf came through in a pinch
Well, at least the jerk could have the shaman bailed out of jail out of gratitude.
Wait, so it happened in the front yard....but there was wood creaking...greg, grass doesnt creak
From the house 🏠 across the street.
The protagonists were kind of jerks and just lucked out that the shaman solved the problem
The House that glows at night in Creepypasta Land.
I can see Jeff Smile Jane Princess Laughing Jack Ben Sally and their friends getting curious about it too.
youtube has their own emojis
👍👍👍
That was oddly touching
This reminds me of that movie the burbs
Still unconvinced this isn't Elijah Wood......
Elijah Wood is a glowing house??
I'm the hippie shaman 😂
Oh yeah, a baseball bat will definitely help when you're hearing gunshots 🙄
That shaman is ma boiiii
*_spoilers_*
I just hope the wifey
goes back to being less bitter, or at least that it didnr affect their marriage/children's childhood. Loved the story though, specially the ending.
Ugh. I hate it when the neighborhood turns into a Phish concert...
😈😈😈
Why did those cops taze that poor shaman? He exorsised that house and freed those poor souls. American police really sucks sometimes !🙁🙄🤦♀️
Based shamanbro
Glow in the dark CIA
Baseball shorts?
Second
If this story teaches people anything it's don't be too wary of hundred year old naked shaman men with tribal tattoos dragging a pile of driftwood , and here in central Florida thats more common than you would ever think.
Anybody who doesn't like kids is sus
ANY RECOMMENDATIONS!? the styLe of story of a victim dying i can’t seem to find many that NARRATED! somebody Let me know. heLL i can’t find many good ones where the narrator is the “bad guy” to be honest. dear abby is a good exampLe i guess for the Latter. heLp me out horror fans
Man sucks his channel isnt getting as many views :/ 2011 gang
Ok? Why do you care?
Normally i can't stand your voice, your intonation, none of it. But this one... This one was good. No. It was great. I wish you narrated like this each time, Ugh
To me... "The House Across the Street" sounds more ominous, because it poses you to question: What about the house across the street?! However, "The House Across the Street Glows at Night" immediately answers the reader's question, removes mystery, doesn't make me want to learn why the house glows... and causes the reader to think the writer won't have the patience to build suspense or grow horror in the work, because they quickly spilled some of the beans in the title.
I didn't come to watch the video, (who cares, really) just to help make people better writers.
Thought I recognised this story, as soon as the topless guy with tattoos showed up I knew it was the shaman who ends up cleansing the house... Good job on getting 15 mins of screen time off me MrCopyPasta, maybe soon you'll do original content... One day....
What's the original? Link it.
You could have skipped to that part. If you didn’t want to listen to it, then why did you seek it out? He does do original content. Every now and then, but the majority of his content, like many other creepypasta reading channels, is them reading other people’s stories, so there’s bound to be stories that are read by multiple channels. Deal with it
Narrations are still good. But the stories and writing are lacking.
He’s reading other people’s stories. It’s not his fault the writing is crap.
Rude, he should have went and bailed the shaman out.
Nice
