First thing sorry about your loss I kissed mine a mouth or two ago and it stings a lot still so my condolences on your loss.
Back to the guns and I agree there is a need for entry level pcp’s I’m getting on a bit and have only ever had springers but thanks to you two I want to have a go at the pcp guns and don’t want to spend a lot on one as to be honest I don’t know how much use I will get out of one but your enthusiasm is infectious so I’m going to start again and looking forward to it thanks guys keep it up.
У меня от деда остался иж 58 . Это отличное оружие. До сих пор стреляет . Еще у меня есть винтовка Мосина образца 44 производства Радомского оружейного завода в Польше.

A double barrel used for crime? It's too easy to get practical firearms (in any country) to risk it all on two rounds.
@joebenson528 if that where true then nobody would use bats,knives, poisoning etc. In fact most homicides are committed by plain beating the victim to death. They usually use what's convenient at the moment.

Yes. There would be actual pitting in the metal. The wood would be more rotten as well. He is a fraud.

I have found soaking such rusted objects in a pail of diesel oil for a few days is very effective to loosen rust and free up moving parts.

Except WD40 is probably the worst thing to use for firearm maintenance. It will gum up everything

Иж 40 уже переделан по 22lr. В начале разборки видно как боек самодельный выпал под кольцевое воспламенение. И ствол там уже расточен под 5.6 мм.
значит был вкладыш под 5,6

I enjoyed your video. Your quit a gunsmith, but just one question; What gage is that 1st dubble barrel shotgun. It looked bigger then a 12 gage. Was it a 10 gage?

There is a distinct lack of deep pitting in the metal of these weapons after the "restorations" are complete. Regardless, still interesting videos to watch.
it's good you're not hunting, it would be heavy with a vise to run around with 😁
To break a weapon of any type down.Clean each piece/section with care.
Repair or replace any piece.
And then put it back together is awesome enough.

Не пойму зачем все ружья измазали в грязи, реставрация хорошая,но сомневаюсь что в стволах нет раковин,восстановить чтобы висела на стене как макет? Пистолет- воздушка вообще дерьмо,а мосинку жалко,можно было не портить,кстати недавно приобрел себе Иж-43, в неплохом состоянии,стволы как новые и нет шата, весной испытаю на утку.

Wouldn't it be easier to braze the pits instead of welding? You might be able to fill more holes less time🤔
Not really a restriction. It would not be deepmed safe to fire that gun. Due to the heavy pitting but still fun to clean up as wall art.
