Professor Layton's Theme - (New Game) Melodica & Piano

This is one of the performances in my "New Game" project with a couple of classmates! Layton's Theme is an incredible piece and recreating this track's energy with just 3 performers was a challenge. But I'm very happy with the result and I think we pulled it off!
This project was the proposal of a repertoire entirely composed of video game music- I personally wanted to have this performance be a way to bring my classmates closer to the VGM culture that I'm so accostumed to, by playing some tracks that show what game music can be to a game, but also what VGM can be on its own- an experience to bring people together over good music.
This is one of the only performances from this project that was entirely recorded, but I'll try to upload as much as I can from the rest of it as well!
I'm not really used to live performances like this anymore, and especially not to playing the melodica. But this was really fun to learn and that solo REALLY makes you sweat lol
Also sorry or the video quality, all of this basically is zoomed in vertical phone footage so... shrugs!
