- One of my fondest holiday memories is making Christmas Cookies with my mom so I have created these delicious refined sugar-free Plant Based Vegan Christmas Cookie recipes to honor that tradition. Three of my favorite old recipes recreated as healthy treats: Pinwheels, Dodgers, and Kiss Cookies. Happy Holidays!

Dodgers, we use to call them thumb print cookies where once the cookie dough was made and the cookie placed on the baking sheet, my sister and I would put our thumb into the cookie. Ten minutes before they were done, my mom would pull the cookies out of the oven and we would put in jam or jelly into the thumb print and then back into the oven. Great memories making cookies. Great recipes.

Thank you for the wonderful recipe and video. As cancer survivors my husband and I try to eat vegan as much as possible, and using the tahini instead of butter looks like a fabulous substitution!

My 2 little girls LOVED that they were able to eat -- or I should say snitch -- some dough to eat. And I had the peace of mind that they weren't going to get sick because it's egg-free dough!

I needed this recipe!! My vegan gingerbread cookie recipe is NOT WFPB - my dad has some new dx so I am only bringing foods I am happy giving to him this year! (I might go w a gingerbread cake - cookies I think just do have to have some v butter…) we usually indulge in vegan treats at Xmas but heart disease is different…. I have a plan!! Oat, even organic oat, nowadays, has glyphosate in it.
Dr William Davis said in his book The wheat belly, that oat is bad. Everytime i eat oat, i do not feel good. Thank you for your channel. You use most of the time healthy ingredients ( just like dr Joel Furhman). You are calm, kind, nice. I feel happy to watch you.
I made these today, put assorted cookies on plates, and delivered them to our neighbors. I was proud to tell them that it is WFPB Christmas cookies. Wish I could share a photo of the cookies I made . They look gorgeous. Thank you!
I will definitely be trying these recipes. Thank you. You need to get a silicone spatula. It will scrape every single bit out of bowls etc. (I got a tiny one from TK Maxx to use on my Bullet.)

Jill I love watching your shows. You're so neat and organized it's inspiring to watch you work in the kitchen. Here's an idea for you. Put a small plate on the counter to hold the spoon or spatula that you're using. I trust your counter is clean but this is less cleaning. Dec 21 is winter solstice. By lunar calendar to the Chinese that date marks the arrival of winter and we eat glutenous rice dumplings to celebrate it. Happy winter solstice!!

Whole food cookie recipes - awesome. I've been wanting some new cookie recipes. Lately I have been making banana oatmeal, peanutbutter (with cranberries, choc chips, walnuts or pecans) cookies. No added sugar, though dates would be fab for a bit of sweetner of your bananas are not as ripe.

I just found this channel 3 days ago and I subscribed and signed up for the Heroes Membership but after checking her website thoroughly and watching her interview with Chef AJ (not sure when was that done), I am upgrading my membership the next level not because I have a lot of money nor the Heroes level is insufficient for what I would want to know - there is plenty access more that what I would be able to do but these type of information cost a lot to gather and produce. I love it that Jill stick to the WFPB ingredients and not vegan as there’s lots of vegan ingredients out there that has a lot of junk in it. I follow Dr. Fuhrman’s philosophy of eating so this really fits my eating philosophy as well. We need to support channels like this. $15 a month is not a lot of money when it comes to our health.

Absolutely adore your recipes and the charming way you present them. Thank you 🙏. One suggestion you might consider for your international audience: use a combination of American cups and metric (grams and millilitres), as other RUclipsrs do.

The dodgers sound like something called linzer tarts, but without all the fat and sugar.
Question....Is your Nutri bullet something that you would recommend? I have seen some bad reviews and wanted your opinion. Thanks for your videos, they are the best. I made a vegan meal for my non vegan friends along with the hostess cupcakes for dessert and everyone loved it :)
I think my Nutribullet Pro is my most reliable appliance. The blades do wear out quicker than the machine but are very inexpensive to replace
Would the dodgers work with fresh strawberries? I will try these this year. Made the pinwheels last year!
If you mean just fresh strawberries in between the cookies, no. Making the strawberries into a jam first would work

Question ... if one wanted to make the Pine-wheels a different flavor, what could one use in place of the Chocolate???
You could add a tsp of peppermint flavoring and a couple drops of red or green food coloring.
