  • Recently it has been raining heavily and the worse part is that it has been so unpredictable. You can check your weather app, then you thought it is NOT going to rain, and bam! A surprise rain pour falls on you.. it's worse when you do not have any spare clothes and you have an important meeting to attend to.
    So in this video, I share an alternative cheaper and more portable raincoat solution that was shared by a good friend of mine, so you can be well prepared in all weathers of Singapore.
    This is not a sponsored video by Decathlon but good stuff had to be shared!
    Here are the links to where you can find the alternative rain coat set:

    Can buy the $20 version, comes with front zip so you need not wear it from the bottom. Helps a ton since do not require to take off helmet

    I think what people want to know is does it work? Is it a good value? Will it keep me dry? Is it durable? I appreciate you showing me pictures of the rain jacket but I can go on their website and see pictures of the rain jacket. When I research RUclips for reviews. Backspace, I want to find out if it works if you want to find out if it's a good deal etc.

      yes it works for heavy rain but still to a certain limit. So far it kept me dry, you can go down to your nearest Decathlon branch to feel the material. But if you heavy storm , well, then I would recommend you get a proper riding raincoat like the Furio Storm Beast or Rev IT. These both are the only I personally tried.

    For the rain pants do you recommend buying one size up since you are wear over existing clothes? or will it be to baggy?

    • @Motorgrapher
      @Motorgrapher  2 года назад +1

      for the Rain Pants, I would recommend buying one size up so it will not be too uncomfortable for you with your jeans. It will not be too baggy as you are never having your legs straight on your bike, its always curved. My concerns are mostly on the length, so far I went for XL because the length is a little longer, so when I am on my bike, lesser chance of exposing the top of my shoe :D

      @jeboy cabrales Sorry for my late reply man... I bought it from a Ducati shop at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia but it isn't waterproof though. More water resistant.

    Price is great. But the visibility not bright ooo

    • @Motorgrapher
      @Motorgrapher  Год назад +1

      Yeah that’s the only down side of it , so the other alternative is to buy reflective arm bands to add on to improve visibility in wet weather.

      Need inner mesh lining to allow some internal air circulation. If not, it gets stuffy when the waterproof fabric sticks to the skin during perspiring.
