Cooper..the new glass case not closing "could be" its not sitting plum and level. They are kind of flimsy shelving units and can twist, sit uneven, etc and cause that issue..just a heads up.
You could do a back splash for the glass shelf to hide the wall behind it. Either a flat color for the whole case or individual art print outs for each shelf matching the theme could work.
Aria is the cutest and sweetest ever. My favorite podcast. Pat and Ian are awesome. The game room is really coming along. Thinking of getting those display cases also to showcase my gaming promotional items. For some reason I collect gaming related items more than the games themselves lol.
That glass case is a nice fit there Awesome display pieces I was happy when I first got AC in my apartment had to go 2-3 years without it definitely a necessity when it hits 80° and above
Since it's a converted garage, you might want to check the walls to make sure they added insulation when they did the conversion to living space. That would explain why it's much hotter. If there's no insulation you should have someone do blown-in insulation in the walls. It will pay for itself in a few years just from not having the run the AC and heat so much.
Looks great I stopped collecting special editions and sold what I had has it was getting into tetris everytime I wanted to put something on a shelf I just stayed with the normal version has there more uniform 😅 and that's a big room in uk lol . But your rooms looking great
The shelving and glass case look awesome. I was just thinking that it would be great to see a update on the game room. With no AC I can understand why you don’t like to be in there very much.
Gameroom looks awesome 👌. I forgot that you have this channel as well. Subbing right now 👍. Love watching the everyday stuff too. Hope we see Abby's room someday 🤞
Wondering if that’s a converted garage??? If so you should probably make sure the attic is insulated properly if you haven’t already or that could be adding to the heat issue.
since you are changing some boards because they are wood instead of white..umm..the little shelf you put up has wood ends..DANG IT COOPER!! GET IT RIGHT !!!! lol..you could always paint it white easy fix..
Getting all "This Old House"y, are you planning on doing anything to the house to accomodate gaming or any other ideas (domestic or funcional). I know on another channel a gamer has actually made a hidden room/bar with secret shelf/doors and done some designing of the walls (with SMB brick patterns). I can't find him on RUclips anymore, which is weird because he was so active just a few months to a year ago and he was such a great presenter for his videos. Searching for him (because I can't remember what his name was even though I thought I did) turns up no results for "basement game room renovation".
Loving the old style videos on this channel and seeing you talk about things you've collected and are passionate about!
Love the old styles

Having the CU podcast on while you’re working on a task is an elite strat. Tip of the cap.

I like the glass case setup! Awesome game room
Looks great! More of these videos please 😊

Not gonna lie, i like the half hour vids better just cause i can watch you guys on my lunch. This works too.
Super Mario 64 is indeed 1 of the best games ever released and it happens to be on the N64 which is why I love that system.

I haven't seen your game room with that table and possibly the couch infront of it. Looks 👍
Cooper you have a wonderful collection thank you for inviting into your home.

Also the dk toys look amazing out the box my favourite shelf
Love how the game room is coming along
Nice looking Glass Case arrangement!
Wow that class case epic I would not change just add more cool respect GGG-unit !!!!
Love the detolf shelves
Also I have about 5 of those IKEA display cases for my game and Star Wars collection haha

You need to get one of those 4 foot tall Mario statues for the game room when you get extra funds!
Man couples goals right here
Great addition and update. Can't wait for the new room tour!
11:24 remove just the bottom magnet and you're good to go. It worked for me.
Nice game room 👊🏽👍🏽🕹🎮
The issue with the detolf door is very common. I've built 6 of them and most of them have that issue where it doesn't touch on either top of bottom.
Your glass display case looks great!
I enjoy the separation of DJVG versus straight up personal collection Cooper ✅
An easy fix for the door close issue would be to buy some tiny rare earth magnets

just foun the channel and subbed. Room looks super cool!
Instead of buying a board, you could buy some iron on melamine edge banding and make any board a white-edged board.
Question is that color variation of the pokemon watch from the pikachu edition or was it sold individually?
5:00 holy squished

The game room most likely gets hot because all the games lining the walls probably act as some kind of insulation
Right angle drill attachment
Why don't you put the washer and dryer in the small room?
(ImBigredguy)3:37 what is that table there on the right?.. it's interesting.
Just subbed to this channel coop, I thought I already was for some reason
Ohhhhh no u left a game cartridge inside the console 🥲🥲🥲🥲 anyway Cool Video 😎
Why not sell your doubles ? Like your big box wii resorts and wii play.
They are different bundle versions or opened / sealed. No "true" duplicates
