    Love the place, found completely by accident but so glad we did. you can stay in The Monastery of Leyre other side of the lake, very basic but a nice experience, still a working monastery where you can go to the chants, very worthwhile but don’t expect the luxury of the Parador!

    Sos, ahi nacio el Rey de Aragón Fernando el Católico en el s.XV, en 1455 más o menos, el rey del descubrimirnto de América junto a la Reina Isabel de Castilla, la Católica la que financió a Colón para la ruta de las especies por el Oeste. Es muy importante históricamente.
